Be Grateful

Hello ~ I've been having fun with this Make-It Monday technique with Stephanie Gold on creating a mixed, textured background.  Such beautiful results, I can't wait to try it again!
I used Sunflower Harvest stamp set along with the Quatrefoil Cover Plate Die.  I love how the flowers and leaves look stamped on the top in grey tones along with the detailed die adding texture and depth to the bottom of the card.

I added a pretty piece of vintage looking lace and some twine and a sentiment from Give Love stamp set.

You can find all the details and join in on the fun here.

I'll also be adding this card to the following challenges:
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge ~ Make your own background
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!

I can see why you want to try this technique again. Your card is fabulous. I especially like the second gingham tag peeking out.

Looks like we were on the same wavelength this week with the Sunflowers my friend! Love the look of the flowers and leaves stamped in the grays along with the die cut cover plate, and then of course the beautiful and colorful Sunflowers over the top...SOOOOO pretty my friend!! And I love that vintage looking lace you used also! :0)

What a wonderful card, Birgit! Love the sunflowers! The whole card looks very professional. I don’t own many coverplates so the Mix & Mat series works well for adding texture in small doses (as in Stephanie’s challenge this week). ;)

This is just as pretty as can be Birgit! The texture in the background is wonderful and I love that little bit of gingham peeking out from behind the tag!
