A Celebration ~ Double D Challenge ~ Wedding

Hello stamplings!  I'm always happy when I find ways to use up some of the printed design papers in my stash.  This challenge from Double D Challenges, "Wedding"  gave me the perfect opportunity to do that!

I started with these beautiful papers from Mintay by Karola called 7th Heaven.
I cut a frame using Spellbinder Hemstitch Rectangles and fussy cut a floral spray from the printed papers and added it to the lower right corner.

This lovely cake is cut using Sue Wilson Designs Make A Cake Necessities Collection.  I adore this die set!!  I lightly blended some spun sugar Distress Oxide Ink to each of the cake layers and then assembled the cake, adding tiny flowers from Cheery Lynn Designs Baby's Breath Flower Kit.  The ivy is from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  Hopefully you can see the glittered Stickles I used in the centers of each of the flowers.

For the sentiment, I used Papertrey Inks Banner Style

Please stop by the Double D Challenge Blog for more inspiration from my talented team mates and join in on the fun!

Beautiful wedding card. I love your background paper and how you framed around the cake and allowed some of the dp on the edges. Great design for this mood board.

I love my special papers too and tend to hoard them. But when you can used them as you did here and they are fabulous. Adding the frame is grand as well.
