Delightful Dahlia's

Helloooo my friends~ I'm popping in today with a quick card to share in the Color Throwdown challenge.

I'm hoping this card counts for the challenge, as the colors are teal, green and white.

but if you look closely in the photo, you'll see splashes of mustard yellow.  So, I took some liberties here and added yellow to the centers of my Dahlia flowers from Papertrey Ink.

I added a bit of color to the petals using Copic markers and popped the layers of the dahlia's using foam dots.  I also added glitter to the flowers to make them sparkle.

The sentiment is from a pack of Foiled Sentiments from Pinkfresh Studio.
I'm pretty pleased with how cheerful this card turned out.

I've linked the products that I used on today's card, below:

There's plenty of time to play along in the challenge over at Color Throwdown.

Thanks for stopping by!

I'm loving this cheerful card too Birgit and you used one of my favorite PTI sets!! (I bought it cause I loved the leaves, but you've made these flowers shine with all their sparkle and tiny bits of color added to them! Loving your background dsp too! This card will definitely bring a smile to the recipients' face!! Hugs. :0)

Beautiful! I love those big bold beautiful blossoms! Shading and the glitter make them POP and sparkle and shine! That background paper is so pretty too! And I love when gold accents show up, especially on the sentiment! So pretty!

I like the sweet daisy wreaths in the background and the pretty dimensional ones as the focal! The wee bit of sparkle adds a charming touch. Lovely card, Birgit!
