Today's card goes along with the PTI Make it Monday challenge. Laura Bassen made a great card using diecuts and the emboss-resist technique. You can check out her video HERE.
Here's the card I made for the challenge:
For this card I used the Happy Hearts Cover Plate, With All My Heart sentiment and dies and Life is Sweet. The candy dots are from Now & Then. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Just hopping on to post one more card to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog.
This card has to have a bold sentiment or image. I chose both!
A coordinating envelope.
The bold sentiment and flowers from both cards are from PTI. Thanks so much for stopping by! Blessings~ Birgit
Fall is definitely in the air here in Maine and I've been enjoying making lots of fall cards and projects. See the post below for some fun vintage Halloween inspiration.
This card is going into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge,
Curtain Call Fall Challenge,
and the Paper Players challenge.
All supplies used are from MFT Stamps.
Thanks so much for looking! Blessings~ Birgit
So I've been seeing everyone's fall and Halloween projects popping up all over in blogland and got bit by the crafty bug to create some of my own. Some are free images I found online and have been hoarding on my computer and some of the images are from Crafty Secrets so I'm entering those cards into their September Linky Party and the Paper Players Happy Fall Y'all Challenge.
Ok, so this first one isn't a card but I still had to share because it's too cute not to share! I have this frame that I switch out seasonally starting last Valentine's day. Now it's ready for the fall!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Blessings~ Birgit
Hello friends~ Erin Lincoln had a great tutorial on the PTI Blog on how to make an easel card using just about any shaped die to cut the center out for the legs. Her's was a back to school card and since my kids are no longer in school and I've already made all my nieces and nephews their back to school cards (seen here), I thought I'd make mine into a birthday card because I like to have extra's on hand when I need one.
I used the banner builder die and cut some banners out of printed birthday scrapbooking paper and added it to a red string that I strung across the top. The sentiment is from Movers & Shakers Sentiments
I think these little easel cards are just darling and will probably make more!
Thanks so much for looking! Blessings~ Birgit
