PTI's November Blog Hop
Thanksgiving is here!! Today is a busy pie making day for me so I'm popping by this morning to post my card to PTI's November Blog Hop. Look at this gorgeous inspiration photo:
Here's my card:
I used Joyful Christmas and Quilted Winter and created a focal cluster from Lexi's MIM tutorial a while back. It's kind of hard to tell in the photo, because of my genius lack of photography skills, but the stars and the last part of the sentiment are heat embossed in silver. It's prettier in real life. ;0)
I hope you have fun blog hopping today! I'll be visiting and commenting in between pies! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!!
Love your cards! And yes, I CAN see how pretty the silver embossing is (It sure is hard to photograph, though, I know!). Ps. Love the title of your blog--perfect.
You can never go wrong with Christmas trees on a card and I do love your design with them, Birgit! That sediment is my favorite!! I also love that adorable Thanksgiving card!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!! Hugs, Darnell
Lovely, lovely card my friend! I love those trees, and to think when they first came out I didn't think much of them, but the more I see of them, the more I want them. Yes, another item to add to my ever growing wish list!! But seriously, this card turned out just beautifully Birgit, and I can even see your silver embossing...although I know what you mean because I struggle too to capture some of those extra elements we add to bring the sparkle and shine to our cards. Oh well, guess we'll just have to keep playing along till we get it right, RIGHT??!! :0)
I never thought much about the bottle brush stamps, but you have changed my mind. Love the design that you did here. I can see the stars and the sentiment is just perfect. Love that Thanksgiving card too. Have a Happy Thanksgiving, eat lots of pie.
Love the pretty colours and the layout of your card. When you zoom in on your card you can see all the details and the silver embossing really well. Gorgeous card x
Thanks so much for visiting and leaving me some love! I appreciate that you took the time to stop in and leave a comment. I read each and every one of them and I appreciate you!
Birgit, I love your sweet card and have no problem seeing the embossing. And now I think I need to get those bottle brush stamps....
