Wearing 'O the Green

Happy St. Patrick's Day a little bit early to all who celebrate this festive day! I'm not Irish, but I do enjoy breaking out of the norm and creating something fun and green for such a day as this. In truth, I had a request for some St. Patrick's day cards so here they are. Nothing special, just lots of green!

I'll start with two vintage images I found online and printed on my home printer.

I don't have any clover stamps so I used a small heart to create my own clover that the little MFT Happy Panda is holding on to.

Again, using the same heart to create a little Irish magic!

Clean and layered and some pretty, fresh greens... Love it!
The clover was created using the smallest MFT stitched heart die.

I'll be entering one of these cards into the following challenges:
The Card Concept
Word Art Wednesday
Curtain Call

Enjoy this special day! Thanks so much for visiting~ Blessings~ Birgit

  4. The vintage image is super. Granny had a picnic basket like that but she was Scottish. Such wonderfully lovely art. Thank you so much for entering our 221st challenge. We are always delighted to see your entries.

  13. Such a wonderful vintage image and lovely lay-out. We are so blessed with your participation in our previous Challenge and would love to have you back for our current Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I want to share with you the inspiration from God's Word from Habakkuk 2:3-4 and it says, " For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. “See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness---." Have an awesome week!
