PTI Make-It Monday Stamping Backgrounds with Sentiment Stamps

Hello~  Just thought I'd pop in and share a card I made for this week's Make-It Monday with Papertrey Ink.  Melissa has a great video on creating backgrounds using sentiments stamps.  I've done this before and it's a technique that I quite enjoy but don't do it often enough.

I'm needing a card for a new homeowner as my daughter and her husband are in the process of buying their first home.  If the inspection goes well and everything else goes smoothly, they'll have a closing on June 1st so I couldn't wait to make them a card to celebrate this special occasion.  It's a cute little yellow house with white trim so I went with those colors for my card.  I stamped the background with Keep It Simple: Home.  I created the house using Tiny Town Basics and added the little window boxes from Sweet Shoppe.  I hand wrote their last name on the sign.

Hope you'll check out this week's video HERE and join in on the fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings~ Birgit
