Good morning friends. I'm still alive, just super busy with life. I found time earlier this week to make this card for the PTI Blog Hop and Make-it Monday Challenge.
I used an old piece of gingham design paper and added stamps from Stitching Garden and a sentiment from Brushed Birds.
Our weather here has been sunny and warm so I'm spending lots of time outside, playing in the flower beds. Spring is my favorite time of the year!
Remember to thank our vets this weekend. Pray for all those who serve our country and for those who've lost loved ones.
Thanks for stopping by!
What a beautiful card Birgit! LOVE how you combined both the blog hop and the MIM challenge together for your card...it totally works!! Your flowers are so pretty and look fabulous against the black and white background. And such a lovely, lovely sentiment too!! :0)
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Birgit! gorgeous roses on the checked bg. Looked exactly like the inspiration photo! Love that layout and sentiment. And your Memorial Day tribute card is perfect! Have a wonderful day, sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteThese flowers are so pretty and the gingham background looks just like the tablecloth in the inspiration photo. I never thought I needed this stamp set until now. The flowers have such a beautiful vintage, classic vibe like the photo. I love your card. It breathes serenity for sure.
ReplyDeleteLoving the beautiful blooms you stamped Birgit! Gorgeous card! Love your second card too, and I am always grateful to those who serve! Such a sacrifice so that we may live in this great land!
ReplyDeleteWonderful arrangement of blooms above and below your lovely sentiment! And a lovely card to remember those who have and do serve!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards, Birgit!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards Birgit! How clever of you to combine the MIM technique with the BH inspiration photo. Your flowers are lovely against the gingham background :-)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely inspired -- to create a great card for both the MIM and blog hop!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou were clever to combine the Make it Monday with the bloghop. Well done.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done! Two great designs!
ReplyDeleteA busy life is a wonderful thing! Love your card, pulling that black and white gingham into your creation is the best. I always find that paper or ribbon makes everything else POP on a card....like your beautiful flowers, fabulous colors! I am FINALLY going to weed my gardens, may take all day or weekend, but I'm okay with that.....can't wait! Enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome designs. So beautiful Birget.
ReplyDeleteBirgit, your first card is simply gorgeous with those Stitching Garden florals and black & white background. Smart move combining two challenges with one card. Your patriotic card is awesome too and respect the sacrifices made for the good old USA. Everything looks so much better in the yard with a little TLC!
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards, Birgit. Love your floral beauty, and the stars and stripes is oh so very perfect for the holiday and people we are celebrating this weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job you have done with the challenge, pretty colors in the flowers.
