Pinterest Inspired Pale Pumpkin

Good morning friends~ I made this card back in September and never got around to posting it until today when I saw the challenge going on over at The Card Concept where the challenge is using neutrals.

I started by dry embossing the card base using a Tim Holtz Alterations Embossing Folder. The pumpkin was made using 5 ovals cut out of parchment paper, using the Scalloped Stitched Oval die set from My Creative Time. I used MFT's Leaf Filled Flourish and Royal Leaves for the greens. I punched some flowers using Martha Stewarts Hydrangea punch and colored the centers using a Zig Real Brush Pen and added stickles to the centers to add a little texture. I purposely didn't add a sentiment so it could be used for any general fall occasion.
I used this photo found on A Homemade Living as inspiration

I'll also be adding this card to the Word Art Wednesday Challenge

Thanks so much for looking! Blessings~ Birgit

Another Cup Of Warmth

I'm back with one more coffee themed Christmas card for the Merry Monday Challenge.

For this card I turned to the Kitchen Sink Stamps Cup Of Warmth. Love the layers and detail of this latte! I double stamped the sentiment from PTI's Christmas Cheer, using Memento's Angel Pink and PTI's Pure Poppy.

A Cup Of Warm Wishes For Christmas

Hello paper loving friends~ I'm linking this card up to the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge with a coffee themed challenge.

I used MFT's Blueprints #20 for the quilted panel and colored just the heart using a red sharpie and added some red stickles to make it shine. The coffee cup is from PTI's Tea For Two Additions and the little gingerbread man is from Quickutz. The sentiment is from PTI's Christmas Cheer.

Halloween Wishes

There are so many fun fall / Halloween challenges going on right now so I couldn't resist joining in on some of the fun. I have a smattering of festive, Halloween cards to share with you today.

For this card, I cut my door using a landscape edge die from WPlus 9 and stamped the woodgrain using MFT's Woodgrain Background stamp to create my door. The black cat was cut using Top Dog Dies, Cool Cats. You'll be seeing him in all of these cards today as I just couldn't put it down. The wreath is from SSS Fall Wreaths and the pumpkin is from MFT's Primitive Pumpkins set. The sentiment banner is part of the cool cats die set on which I heat embossed the sentiment in white.

On this card I blended some Ranger Distress Inks in Peacock Feather, Concord Grape and Black Soot to create the background, after masking in the moon using Lemonade and Mustard seed. The fence and cat are both die cut and the sentiment is from MFT's Primitive Pumpkins, heat embossed in white.

After die cutting a circle from the center of my black panel, I added yellow behind to make the moon. The branch is from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps Love Birds set and the Cool Cat from Top Dog Dies.

And the last card uses both cat images from the Cool Cats set.

I'll be entering one of these cards into the following challenges:
The Paper Players
V's Sweet Ideas
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Sisterhood Of Crafters

Playing With Stripes with PTI ~ MIM

Good morning friends~ I'm playing along with PTI's Make-it Monday where Laurie has us creating with stripes. I do love stripes so here's three cards I made using them.

I used the You've Been Framed Oval die set to create this card using stripes as a background. The background is printed scrapbooking paper and I just added the stamped flowers in the corners and the script behind the love birds.

On this card I stamped the stripes on the edges of my card and paired with my favorite flower ~ Rosie Posie. The strips of gold were colored using a metallic gold paint pen.

Still using stripes as the border, but this time stamping diagonal stripes using two colors, along with Timeless.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Blessings~ Birgit
