Good morning friends ~ I'm popping in with another card I made for WCMD for last weeks festivities over at A Cherry On Top.
The challenge was to use faux stitching so I created the background using faux stitched dies, crossing them over in the center of a cream colored card stock.
I added greenery and pine cones from The Greetery and a chickadee from Honeybee Stamps. You can see that I added some clear glitter to the pine cones to give them a frosted look. They shine much better in real life. The sentiment is pre-printed from Memory Box.
I'll be adding this card to the following challenges:

Krafty Chicks Challenge ~ Christmas
A Cut Above ~ October

Oh, this is lovely and truly speaks to me! I love the background design. Beautiful chickadee perched on his pine branch. The touch of glitter is perfect on the pine cones. Thanks for sharing with us at A Cut Above's October Challenge.
Wow that is gorgeous, love your bird all nestled in the pine cone branch, love the sparkle you added for the front and the stitching chris cross on the background!
Pretty card Birgit! Love your faux stitching as a place for the bird to perch. Lovely! xx
Your little chickadee looks so real, and I can say for certain those pinecones are the most realistic I've ever come across. I love how you incorporated the stitching. Simply wonderful, Birgit!
