More Pie, Anyone? ~ Spellbinders

Hello friends~ I'm back with another card using Spellbinders, Pie Perfection Collection from Tina Smith.

I previously shared cards I made using Serve a Slice die set, in this post and this post.  Today's card also features the Dish It Up die set.

If you're going to have pie, you have to have something to deliver it with, right?  There are five dies in this set which includes a fork, knife, spoon, serving spatula and a plate.  So cute!!

This card was so simple!  I created the background using multiple pieces of silverware in white on white, to create a subtle background.  I then made a chocolate cream pie, adding a bit of lattice work to the top of the pie.  I cut the spatula out of silver cardstock and dished the pie up on the plate that's included in the set.

If you or someone you love has a sweet tooth, then this set is a definite "must see"!

You can find all these dies and more at Spellbinders:

Spellbinders Serve a Slice

Good morning sunshine!  Today's card is bringing in the sunshine with warm and happy yellow tones, using dies from Spellbinders.

For this card, I used the Mini Slimline Envelope & Nested Card Creator to create the background banner on which I added this delightful lemon cream pie, using Serve a Slice dies from Spellbinders Pie Perfection Collection.

The pie is sitting on a plate, cut using the Dish It Up die set, which you'll see more of in a future post.  The top banner was made using dies from previously released Truly, Madly, Deeply Card Kit.

Here is a list of links that I used to make today's card:

Up ~ Up and Away

Hello friends~ I'm so happy that you've stopped in today!  I have a quick post, sharing this soft colored card using Sizzix Hot Air Balloon die set.

I love all the elements in this set that you can use to decorate your hot air balloons with.

The soft, pastel colors that I used coincide with the current challenge over at Sunday Stamps.

And, because there's hearts and flowers on each of the balloons, I think I'll add this card to The Flower Challenge as well.

He Arose! ~ Double D Challenges

Good morning, everyone~ Double D Challenges is starting a new challenge today, and the theme is "Buildings".

Today's card celebrates the Easter season.  Given all that's going on in the world, we need something, or someone to turn to for hope.  My hope is in the One who brings the hope of forgiveness from our sins, the hope of peace in a restless world and the hope of eternal life when we pass from this world into eternity.

I used dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs and Papertrey Ink to make this snow-globe card.

Here's the inspiration board to help you get started:

Pie Perfection ~ Spellbinders Invitation

I'm super excited to be bringing today's card to you, using Spellbinders newly released "Pie Perfection Collection" from designer, Tina Smith.  I've been an admirer of Tina's work for a long time now, and when she came out with her first release "Sweet Street", I was completely smitten.  Pie Perfection has me drooling over each and every set in this collection, just as her first collection did!

Today's card focuses on the "Serve a Slice" set.  There are 8 dies in this set, giving you plenty of options on how you want to create your pie.  Mine is fruity with chocolate glaze.

For the background, I used an older "Celebrations" embossing folder from Spellbinders and added the "Layered Stitch Background" over a piece of plaid paper from my stash.  I then made the pie and added the drip edge to make it look like the chocolate glaze was oozing down the edge. The plate is from the Dish It Up set, which you'll see more of in a future post.

A sprinkling of sugared glitter, a dallop of whipped topping and a cherry on top.  Isn't it delicious?

Here's a list of Spellbinders products I used to make today's cards:
