Hello friends ~ Double D Challenges is starting a new challenge and the theme is "Christmas Trees".
Quite a long time ago, my dear friend Marcia sent me this Cozy Cupful image from Power Poppy Stamps. I colored it using prisma colored pencils, adding a bit of glossy accents to the ornament. I masked out a deckle edge rectangle and did a bit of ink blending around the edge.
The old fashioned sentiment is from Hero Arts. I love the vintage font!
A quick and easy CAS card to end the year with.
Here's the lovely inspiration panel Darlene put together for you:
And here's the prize you could win when you play along at Double D Challenges. I can't wait to see what you create!
I'll also be adding this card to the following challenges:

What a sweet image and beautifully colored! Merry Christmas!
So pretty! Your teacup tree holder is very elegant. The old fashion font and sentiment are just beautiful. I love this entire "vintage feel" design.
Beautiful coloring, fantastic image! Love how you inked out the area, so pretty! Definitely a Vintage Vibe, which is always lovely! Merry Merry!
Yep, I recognized that Power Poppy image right away! You have colored it so well and it is so dainty. Using colored pencils is stunning and that font for the sentiment is perfect!
Still one of my favorite stamp sets and you've colored that tea cup and tree so beautifully Birgit!! I love the soft background and vintage sentiment too! Lovely, lovely card my friend and so glad you had fun coloring this one up!! Hugs. :0)
That Marcia sure does know how to treat a friend in the best crafty way - and she sure knows you well, Birgit! This pretty little teacup tree is so perfectly perfect for you, and you've colored it beautifully!

Super pretty. Love the soft colors
This is the sweetest little tree and a favorite PP stamp set. I've always thought it must be a very tiny tree to fit in a tea cup. It's so lovely to see it on a card again, and you did that beautifully, Birgit!
Your sweet gift from Marcia was put to good use, Birgit! The teacup tree is darling and I love the way you've colored it. What a delightful card!
So lovely, that tree in the tea cup is so sweet, terrific coloring and like your inking around it too!
I love this card so much and actually have a cute scene in an old vintage tea cup I bought years ago, your card reminds me of it, it's fabulous!
Oh dear. I thought I commented on this challenge, but I guess not. Blame it on Christmas fatigue. I LOVE your design here, that tree is FABULOUS, and so sweet in that cup!! Best wishes for a blessed 2025. Hugs!
