Spring Has Sprung.... Well, Almost!

Hooray, it's March and spring is almost here!

In the spirit of spring, I made this cutie little 3D spring shadow box using printables I found on Etsy.

Isn't this bunny just the cutest?  The collection is from KB and Friends and you can find them on Etsy.

I was able to use up some old patterned paper around the outside of the box, and more printables inside the box, from the collection.  Do you see that cute little library card peeking out from behind?

You can see here how deep the box is, so there's plenty of space for adding more layers.
The box die is called Curio Box from Sizzix.  I tucked in some soft green crepe paper shred and a few little millinery flowers into the bottom of the box to give the bunny a resting spot.

The banner on top of the box is from the printable collection, while the flower is from Hobby Lobby.

We're so close to spring, yet we have snow coming almost every day this week.  But I won't let that dampen my spirits.  I'll keep enjoying spring inside until we can get outside.

I'll be adding this project to the following challenges:
Beautiful Blossoms Challenge ~ Anything Goes without the use of the Optional Mood Board
Four Seasons Challenge ~ Spring (inspired by the top right)

Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!

What an absolutely adorable little bunny box! It reminds me of an old-timey chocolate bunny box, but not chocolate and way cuter. This is just the sweetest thing, Birgit! Beautifully done in your signature vintage style, and just look how perfect it is sitting among your things. Delightful!

Birgit, this is absolutely adorable! I love all the different elements in it. The vintage field is wonderful. I do see the little library card in the back as well. You’ve done a great job with us for sure! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We appreciate your participation!

Oh Birgit...this is just the sweetest shadow box! That little bunny is ADORABLE and so is all the ephemera you added...a sweet, sweet decoration to add to your Spring decorations!! (I love that blue plate in the background!!) We're supposed to get warmer weather towards the end of the week along with lots of rain...hopefully will get rid of the snow piles still left! I'll try to send some of the warmer temps your way!! Hugs. :0)

Yes, the cutest and sweetest bunny ever! Love your creative and beautiful shadow box! Great depth and dimension, pretty papers and fabulous accents! C'mon Spring! Just saw the weather, Sat and Sun in the low 50's, maybe some of this stuff will melt! I know we have to chip away at the corners of one of our driveways, there's no room to back in as our streets have been narrowly plowed lol How are your sprouts coming along....I am waiting one more month! ;)
