Celebrate In Style with Pinkfresh Studio ~ ScrapbookPal

Hello crafty friends!  My birthday card stash was running low and one great way to add multiple cards quickly, is to choose stamp and die sets that can be layered in different ways.

Pinkfresh Studio "Celebrate In Style" is just that kind of collection, with multiple floral options and decoration images that can be stamped onto the cake.

For the first card, I stamped the cake and floral images onto 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock, adding color using the Celebrate In Style Layering Stencils and then die cut the images out using the coordinating dies. I layered the images using the Art Deco Frames, also from Pinkfresh Studio.

For the second card, I followed the same process, adding the detailed clear stamp on the icing of the cake, adding some plaid paper from my stash and a stamped and die cut sentiment that is included in this set.

The cake stand and gold mirrored cardstock adds a bit of elegance.

Check out Celebrate In Style stamps, dies and stencils at ScrapbookPal and have fun adding lots of cards to your stash!

A Celebration ~ Double D Challenge ~ Wedding

Hello stamplings!  I'm always happy when I find ways to use up some of the printed design papers in my stash.  This challenge from Double D Challenges, "Wedding"  gave me the perfect opportunity to do that!

I started with these beautiful papers from Mintay by Karola called 7th Heaven.
I cut a frame using Spellbinder Hemstitch Rectangles and fussy cut a floral spray from the printed papers and added it to the lower right corner.

This lovely cake is cut using Sue Wilson Designs Make A Cake Necessities Collection.  I adore this die set!!  I lightly blended some spun sugar Distress Oxide Ink to each of the cake layers and then assembled the cake, adding tiny flowers from Cheery Lynn Designs Baby's Breath Flower Kit.  The ivy is from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  Hopefully you can see the glittered Stickles I used in the centers of each of the flowers.

For the sentiment, I used Papertrey Inks Banner Style

Please stop by the Double D Challenge Blog for more inspiration from my talented team mates and join in on the fun!

Celebrate! Eat Cake! ~ Dies R Us ~ Happy Birthday!

Good morning ~ How about a little cake for breakfast this morning?
Dies R Us Challenge Blog is starting a new challenge and the theme is "Birthday", so let's celebrate and eat cake!!

I turned to Elizabeth Craft Designs Cake to create this CAS card.  I added some pretty Lawn Fawn confetti sprinkles to the frosting on the cake.  The fork was cut using silver mirror cardstock.

Would you like to celebrate with us?  Join in on the fun at the DRU Challenge Blog.  You could be our next winner!

I'll also be entering this card into the following challenges:
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes

Before I go, we have some exciting news to share with you.  Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts

It will ship to both the US and Canada.  Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different.  Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!  We'd love for you to visit by clicking on the links above or by clicking here.
