A Pretty Gift Set For A Special Occasion

Good morning friends~  I made this gift set back in February, to celebrate a dear friends special day, and I never got around to posting it.  As it turns out my dear friend Marcia, over at Color Hues is starting a new challenge using these colors, so I thought this would be the perfect time to post this project.

The deliciously sized cupcake die is from Pretty Pink Posh.  I added some sweet polka dotted lemons from Spellbinders because every project should have some polka dots.

The treat box is made using a die from Sizzix.

I found this striped gift bag in my stash which coordinated perfectly with the papers and cardstock colors I used.  A simply doily bag topper and bow was all it needed.

And finally, a framed piece of artwork using stencils and dies from Altenew.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Color Hues ~ Blue & Yellow

Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes

Spellbinders Invitation ~ Fluted Classics Rectangles

Hello friends~  I'm happy to be joining you today with a card I've made using Spellbinders new Fluted Classics series from Becca Feeken.

Fluted Classics series come in basic shapes,  (circle, square, oval and rectangle) with a ticking design inspired by the blanket stitch on its edges.

For this card, I used Fluted Classics Slimline Etched Dies.  This set includes 9 dies which will help you create different sizes of slimline cards.  The  Party Cupcake Pocket Etched Dies are simply adorable cut in soft pastels!

Here's a list of supplies I used that can be found at Spellbinders:

Valentine Love ~ Double D

Good morning friends~  A new challenge is up over at Double D Challenges and we're looking for Valentine projects.

I used a Spellbinders Hemstitch to create the frame on white linen cardstock.

I added a cupcake from Elizabeth Craft Designs with some sprinkled iridescent sugar on top.

The die cut sentiment is also from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I added a black layer to give the appearance of a shadow to help the words stand out more.

Celebrate with Cupcakes ~ Double D Challenge

Good morning friends.  Today's card is for a new challenge starting up over at Double D Challenge blog where they're celebrating their 5th anniversary.  What better way to celebrate, than with cupcakes!!

Do you have supplies that have been tucked away and neglected for years?  Well, one item in my stash is acetate.  Yes, I use it for shaker cards but it's been a long time since I've made a shaker card so I thought I could use it to make a window card.

The cupcake stamp is also an older set from MFT, but cupcakes are timeless.  In fact, all the supplies I used on this card are older supplies that needed some love and attention.

Here's your inspiration:

I hope you'll join in on the festivities for the 5th Anniversary for Double D Challenge.
