Mason Jars ~ Double D

Hello friends~  Double D has a new challenge starting up today and we're asking you to pull out your mason jars and anything that goes with them.

The Greetery's Mason jar and bottles are so pretty stamped in any color!   I spent some time a few months ago stamping them in rainbow colors so that I'd have them when inspiration hit me to use them.

Paired with the Cotton Bolls, also from The Greetery, make the perfect summer card.  I think the jewel tones on this aqua paper is dreamy.

Pretty Pink Pedals ~ DRU Challenge

Good morning friends~  I'm popping in with a card I made for the Dies R Us Challenge, and I think it's possibly the quickest card I've ever made.

I used the Bike from Impression Obsession, cut out of pink cardstock.  I used tiny scraps of printed paper for the seat and handlebars and a white basket.  Now, what to put in the basket??

As I was rummaging through my supplies looking for flowers that would fit, I came across this older printed paper from PTI.  I used the printed background and cut flowers and POOF!  My card was complete.

Please pop on over to the Dies R Us Challenge blog to play along.  You could be the winner of a gift certificate to the store.

The Ocean Is Calling ~ TSOC

Hey y'all!  I'm hosting the next challenge over at The Sisterhood of Crafters and for anyone who knows me, knows that I love going to the ocean, so my theme is "The Ocean Is Calling and I Must Go".

I started by stamping the peaceful ocean scene using Stampin' Up Sending Sunshine.  I added a palm tree from PTIs On The Wagon and framed it using Impression Obsessions Large Frame.

I hope you'll hop on over to The Sisterhood of Crafters blog to see how they were inspired by this challenge and I truly hope you'll join in on the fun!

Sweet Watermelon Pops ~ Double D

Hello everyone.  Double D Challenges is starting a new challenge today
and the theme is "Colors of Summer".

I used Sweet Ice Cream stamps from Stampin' Up! to create these yummy watermelon colored summer pops.

The seeds are stamped using the drip stamp in the set.  When stamped in black ink, they look like watermelon seeds! The papers are from my scrap box and I added a strip of Ric Rac using a Sunny Studio border die.  This ric rac border die is now one of my favorite "go to" dies.

I made two summer birthday cards out of the paper scraps to add to my box.

Here's the mood board to inspired you:

Spellbinders Clubs of the Month Blog Hop

Hello everyone!  Sorry for two posts in the same day.  I'm participating in the Spellbinders Blog Hop so hang on tight and let's start hopping!
We're highlighting all of the July Club Kits today, so you'll be seeing a wide range of amazing inspiration as you proceed through the hop.

I've enjoyed using the Mini Slimline Envelope & Nested Card Creator (Large Die of the Month)and the Decorative Mini Slimline Card Creator (Small Die of the Monthso much, I couldn't wait to create with them again.

I cut 1" strips out of several colors from the Assorted Pack Color Essentials Cardstock and taped them together on the back using washi tape.  I cut the panel out using the largest die in the nested die set.

I then layered on two of the smaller rectangles cut out of white cardstock and the label die from Small Die of the Month, which I stamped using the birthday sentiment from the Clear Stamp of the Month.

I tucked in a few of the layered flowers that were cut using the Large Die of the Month.
