My Favorites from 2025

Happy New Year friends!  As I say goodbye to 2025 and look forward to 2026, I reflect on all the good things that took place last year. God is immeasurably good, and He has great promises for our family for 2026.
I thought it would be fun to ring in the new year with a recap of my favorite posts from 2025.  Here is a quick glimpse of my favorite projects.  You can click on the links if you want to see the original post.

The postage theme is still going strong.  I adore these spring pond stencils and all the fun stencils from Waffle Flower.

As you all know, I love anything vintage.  The vintage Valentine rub-ons are so much fun to work with.

I enjoy making treat boxes of all kinds.  I love the rich texture on this vintage style book box.

Vintage Easter on an egg shaped treat box.  What could be cuter?

Tropical is a fun change of pace for me and one that I don't do enough of.

Stash busting some patterned papers.  I'm always up for more of that!

Loved the glitzy gold accents on this moody, floral card.

I can't forget how much I enjoy using printables in my craft making.  There are so many free images you can find online.  These library cards are generic enough to use for any project.

Creating my own background is something I don't often do.  I would like to get messy more often in 2026.

More treat boxes... They're just too much fun!

I do enjoy making these 3D lighted ornament boxes.  They're addictive, fun to make, fun to give and fun to receive.

Easel cards are a nice option when you want to make a card with that little extra something special.

I hope you enjoyed today's recap of 2025.  It's been a fun and creative year.  My wish for you all for 2026 is that you are blessed with health, happiness and plenty of time to do what you love.
Thanks for stopping by!

Warmest Wishes Birdhouse Pop-up ~ Poppystamps

Hello friends ~  Cardinals are beautiful birds, don't you think?  I'm an avid back yard bird watcher and I feed the birds year round, along with all the chipmunks and squirrels that help themselves to the black oil sunflower seeds we offer.

The Bird House Pop Up Easel Die Set from Poppystamps is the focus of my project today.  I've paired it with some flowers from the Potpourri Flower Set.

Let's get started.
First off, you'll have to cut two of the base  shapes.

These will get glued together on the little scored flaps, on the short side.  This is the base of your easel pop up.  This step is so easy!  And now for the fun part...  Decorating it!

The cardinal and the pine sprigs are all included in this set.  I cut mine out of white cardstock and colored them using Copic markers.

I also cut out four different colors of flowers using the Potpourri Flower Set.

I cut the front frame of the birdhouse out of light blue cardstock and glued  the card the layers together.  Once all the cutting and coloring were done, it was time to decorate, popping flowers in here and there, and a few were popped up using foam dots.

I cut another layer of the same blue cardstock, using the birdhouse frame, for the inside of the card.  The sentiment is stamped using Gilded Christmas Wishes and cut using Colwell Label Set.  I chose this sentiment because I thought it would also work well as a birthday greeting.  This is a great way to extend the use of your Christmas greetings.

I finished the centers of each flower using Autumn Fairy Jewels.  These self adhesive jewels come in just about every color!

Spring Wreath ~ Double D Challenges

Hello friends~ Double D Challenges is starting a new challenge and the theme is "Easter".  Today's card has really gotten me ready for spring weather to arrive.  I'm typing this up in early February and we just got two back-to-back snowstorms, dumping over two feet of snow, collectively.  Needless to say, I'm ready for spring.

I'm so thankful that during the long, cold winter months in Maine, I can turn to crafting, where I can play with colorful flowers and springtime bunnies to brighten the dark days.

I started building my card using a Wooden Heart from Impression Obsession, adding greens from The Greetery's Boxwood Wreath over the top.

I stamped the Easter greeting in the center of the wooden heart and tucked in a few little spring flowers and colorful Easter eggs that I cut from printed paper.

The little leaping bunny from Impression Obsession is happy about the arrival of spring too!

Here's the Double D mood board to inspire you:

And here's the prize that you could win when you play along.

Please hop on over to the Double D Challenge blog to see more amazing inspiration and join in on the fun!
