Spring Has Sprung At The Pond

A good chilly mornin' to ya!  We woke up to 4 degrees this morning, but the sun is shining and it's warm and toasty in the craft room.

I picked up the Postage Collage "The Pond" stencils from Waffle Flower during an after Christmas sale and surely couldn't wait to get my fingers inky.

The Pond With Lily Pad dies were an extra that happened to hop right into my cart, as if they had a mind of their own.  I think that happy bullfrog might have had something to do with it.  The lily pads, flowers and cattails add a nice bit of dimension on this otherwise flat card, don't you think?

The colors make me think of the warmth and colors of spring.
I say bring it on!

I think I'll add this card to the following challenges:
Cut It Up ~ Something New
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes
Time Out Challenges ~ Your Favorite Thing To Do In January
(make cards)

A Cut Above ~ Anything goes with the option of "New"

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh wow, this is so adorable, Birgit! The happy, fun spring colors are delightful. Makes me want Spring now, today! That frog is so cute and I love the dimension with the lily pad and cat tail dies. Everything fits perfectly on this postage stamp frame. Thanks for sharing at A Cut Above's January, "Anything Goes With A Die Cut" Challenge.

It's bitter cold here too, Birgit and snowing! You can't beat a good crafty sale can you? Your summery cheerful card perked me right up. I can see why these goodies came to live in your craft room!

Birgit, I just love this collage of delightful things one might see by the edge of a pond! This one was mighty hard to resist, let me tell you! I'm so happy you didn't!
Our pond has frozen over and one of the dads in the neighborhood was shoveling the snow getting it ready for skating and hockey! I do so miss hearing the frogs in Winter!

Beautiful little "paintings" in your postage collage! I enjoy making cards in January too with no holidays pressing with other projects. So glad you shopped that sale and now shared this little beauty with us at Time Out Challenges!
