Cinch & Go Blossoms ~ Spellbinders Invitation

Hello friends ~ I've got another card for you today, using Cinch & Go Blossoms from Becca Feeken's Classically Becca Collection from Spellbinders.

Cinch & Go Blossoms is a set of 10 thin metal dies, which includes three sizes of five-petal blooms, three sizes of three-petal blooms, and three sizes of flower centers.
I made a mini slimline card using Mini Slimline Envelope and Nested Card Creator to make the card base.  I layered the flower petals in different sizes on this card, using the centers as background decor on my card.  I used Layered Mix & Match Sentiments to add the sentiment.

This was the first card I made but I wasn't completely thrilled with the colors, but it shows you how the centers of the flowers can be mixed and matched to add more detail to the flowers.

Here's a list of links I used in today's cards:

Snowdrops ~ Double D

Hello friends ~ There's a new challenge starting up over at Double D Challenges and the theme is Blue & White Winter

I was inspired by the snow covered woods in the top left corner.  I can just imagine snowshoeing through the woods and coming upon a spot where the sun shines through the trees and these pretty little snowdrops glisten in the sun.

The Snowdrops die is from Marianne Designs and it looks so pretty on a CAS card like this.  I colored it using Copics and added some Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter to the top layer of the flowers and the snow mound to make them sparkle.

The sentiment is from Altenew's Blessings stamp set.

Here's the inspiration photo:

Elegant Hello ~ Classically Becca ~ Spellbinders

Hello friends~  Do you ever feel like making elegant cards can be difficult or time consuming?  Becca Feeken has made making beautiful cards as easy as can be, with her Classically Becca collection of dies from Spellbinders.

Today's card focuses on Filagree Marquis die set.  This is an elegant collection of 8 thin metal dies that fit the A2-size card format. The large corner frame has intricate designs on its four corners with its outer and inner rim dies to cut the frame.

The filigree oval design fts perfecting in the middle. The two sweet floral accents and leaf motif finishes the set.

I used the previously released Layered Mix & Matched Sentiments "hello" in the center.

Timeless in beauty, this card came together so quickly!  These wonderful dies would be perfect for wedding, anniversary or any occasion you want to feel special.

Secret Garden Flowers ~ DRU

Good morning friends~  Dies R Us is starting a new challenge today and the theme is "Anything Goes".  I've pulled out some pretty spring flowers from Dee's Distinctively to brighten your day.
I cut the flower petal layers out of two different shades of pink and added some details using my copic markers and a white gel pen.  I colored the centers of each flower using copics as well.  The leaves are from Cheery Lynn Build A Flower, Petals & Leaves.

The gold, oval frame is from my stash, but there are so many wonderful ovals in the store to choose from.  I know if you stop by the DRU store, you'll find just what you're looking for and more!

Spellbinders Blog Hop

Hi everyone!  Spellbinders is having a blog hop to help inspire you by highlighting all the different club kits that they offer.

I used elements from the January Card Kit of the Month to create this adorable, framed art.
The "Truly, Madly, Deeply" Card Kit has tons of supplies and I loved the warm, spring colors in the kit.

I started by making the frame using Becca Feekin's Adjustable Shadowbox Frame.  If you haven't seen this die in action, you must check it out.  You can make frames with a 1/2", 3/4" or 1" frame border, in any size you want.  I made my frame to measure 5X7".

I filled the frame with lots of goodies from the card kit and added these handmade flowers using Cinch and Go Blossoms.

Spellbinders has several monthly clubs that you can join.  They also launched the NEW Embossing Folder Club on January 1st. The response has been so overwhelming this Club has sold out. We will try to bring this design back again at a later time (check our “Past Clubs” section). Be sure to sign up for our Clubs right away on the 1st of the month not to miss out on any future designs.

Giveaway:

Truly, Madly, Deeply ~ Spellbinder January 2022 Card Kit of the Month

Good morning friends~  I've got five cards to share with you today, that I made using the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month.

This month's "Truly, Madly, Deeply" Card Kit includes a 6x6 paper pad, clear stamps, an adorable die set, tons of embellishments, and more!

For this card, I used a number of the preprinted die cuts included in the set.  The little heart sprig in the bottom right corner was made using some of the dies in the kit.

I love the warm and cheerful colors that they used.  The gold accents add a touch of elegance to each card.

This paper is by far, one of my favorites in the paper pack.  I wish I had a whole stack of it!  You'll also find a whole sheet of these beautifully, glittered sentiments and hearts.

There's a sheet of banner sentiment stickers like the one I used on this card, with an array of sayings.

I used the leftover bits of paper from the previous cards to make this easy card.  The sequins included in the kit make the perfect finishing touch!

The kit also includes card bases with envelopes, two different types of adhesives, die cuts and several sticker options.

This is such an amazing value for all the supplies you'll receive.

Amazing Paper Grace January Club Kit ~ Coffee, Tea or Me ~ Spellbinders

Hello lovelies!  I'm so excited to be bringing you today's project I made using Becca Feeken's Amazing Paper Grace January Club Kit.

This month's "Pop Up Vignette Coffee Tea or Me" is perfect for making gorgeous multi layered cards and projects.   This die set comes with 21 dies.  A cup that can be cut as a solid or filigree along with mirrored cup handles that look good from both sides.

The side panel with the slits are two separate dies, so you can use them together to create this wonderfully layered project that folds flat for easy mailing.

I added these lovely, scrolled heart stirring sticks and tied them off with a bit of sheer polka dotted ribbon.  There are a couple of leaf dies included in the set as well.

I mentioned that the side panel with the slits come as separate dies.  For this project, I cut just the side panel without the slits three times to make a treat holder.

I simply added one to each side as they're intended and added the third panel onto the bottom of the cup.

The die set comes with this adorable tea bag holder that you could tuck a real tea bag into or make it into a tag.

There are a couple of dies that cut the words "Coffee, Tea & Lover".  The flower is also included in the set.

This delightful die set will ease its way onto your list of favorites very quickly.

You can find all the details about this month's Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month right HERE along with all the other wonderful monthly kits that Spellbinders offers.

Peace On Earth

Hello friends ~ Let there be peace on earth!  Goodness knows it's been a tough couple of years with Covid and all that's going on in the world.  We all could do more to try to be a little more thoughtful towards others, showing more kindness, respecting each others differences and loving other as we would want others to love us.

My dear friends Darlene and Diane have started another amazing challenge and I love the name they've chosen, "Peace On Earth Christmas".  May we remember that every day is a day for giving love, not just Christmas.

I used these darling Christmas Fawns from Cottage Cutz to create my card.

Cottage Cutz is currently having an after Christmas sale and you can get these fawns and many other dies at on sale, up to 80% off.

Here's the inspiration board:

I was inspired by the little deer in the top left image and the two llama's.
