New House Mouse Stamps at Spellbinders

Good morning friends!  Happy Hump-day! I have a special delivery for you today.  I'm so excited to share the news about the collaboration between House Mouse Designs and Spellbinders!  Introducing the enchanting Spring Collection from House Mouse, now available at Spellbinders.

I had the pleasure of working with the Daisy Mouse stamp, featuring adorable little Mudpie as he's being carried away on a wind-swept daisy.  Eeep, so cute!

I colored little Mudpie using Copic markers and added a healthy dose of Wink of Stella to the flower.  These are the only kinds of mice that I don't mind seeing.  I let my Brother Scan N' Cut do the fussy cutting for me, because y'all know how much I love fussy cutting..... NOT!

Mudpie is mounted over a die cut oval with just a hint of Tumbled Glass DOX ink.  The background paper is from the 6x6 paper pack that was included in the Koala Smiles Monthly Card Kit.

If you haven't visited Spellbinders recently, you really must go see the new collection of House Mouse Designs.  Let your imagination soar as you join them on whimsical adventures through the picturesque landscapes they call home.

Some Bunny Far Away....

Distance is such a hard hurdle to stand before when you can't easily jump.

I've been missing my sweet little miss "P".  My son and daughter-in-love are great about sending video's, pictures and video chatting with us, but it's not the same as being in their presence.

This darling little bunny from Craft Consortium's Little Fawn and Friends was pulling at my heart strings.

Miss "P" is rolling all over the house, practicing her raspberry blowing skills.  She's a pro!  I miss those kissable cheeks.

I'll be entering this card into the Just Us Girls challenge.  It's CAS week and "thinking of you" is the prompt.

Inhale. Exhale. Enjoy!

There's nothing more relaxing than sitting on the beach, warm sand between your toes, watching the tide roll in and out.

I could do it all day, every day!

Using some older supplies, all retired, but always in style.

I'll be adding this card to the following challenges:

It's My Party Too! ~ Spellbinders

Good morning friends~  Spellbinders recently had another amazing release called "It's My Party Too!"  It's a fun collection worth celebrating, which compliments the Birthday Celebration collection that was released last year.

I had the opportunity to work with Glimmering Hooray Hot Foil Plate and Tiny Dots Embossing Folder, which I paired with Color Block Balloons Etched Dies.

Card #1:  I started with the Glimmering Hooray Hot Foil Plate, foiling it three times, in the colors Gold, Skybright & Moondust, then die cutting each of them out using the coordinating sentiment die.

Focus:  I cut the Color Block Balloons out of shimmery white cardstock, black glitter cardstock and gold mirror cardstock and layered them up as you can see here.  They are mounted on a piece of gold script design paper from one of the previous Card Kit Of The Month.

Card #2:  I used the Tiny Dots Embossing Folder to create the simple background.  The color foil on this card is called Moondust.  I love how the iridescent colors change in the light.  It's hard to capture a good photo of the glimmery colors.

Card #3:  Using the leftover piece of design paper, I added it to the left side and cut a slim strip of coordinating paper to add definition to the background.  The colorblock balloons were then layered in a playful design, with the Skybright sentiment placed on top.

I hope you enjoyed today's cards and I especially hope that you'll stop in at Spellbinders to see their New Release.

I've linked the products I used below for your convenience.

The Glory of The Lord ~ Color Challenge ~ Double D

Hello friends!  Double D Challenge is starting up a new challenge and the theme is a color challenge.

As you can see I went with the cool tones of blue, using Forever Fern stamps & dies from Stampin' Up!

The background is embossed with a very old plaid EF.  I cut a circle out of the right edge so it overlapped the edge and stamped the verse inside the negative space.

I used Altenew's Icy Lake Crisp Ink Dyes for all the stamping and the flowers and pearls are from my stash.

Trying to make the most of my crafting time, I made two more cards.

I used the negative piece from the first card and added more leafy sprigs from Forever Fern and a Vintage Rose from Altenew.  I tucked in a few sprigs cut from vellum to soften the look.

Celebrate In Style with Pinkfresh Studio ~ ScrapbookPal

Hello crafty friends!  My birthday card stash was running low and one great way to add multiple cards quickly, is to choose stamp and die sets that can be layered in different ways.

Pinkfresh Studio "Celebrate In Style" is just that kind of collection, with multiple floral options and decoration images that can be stamped onto the cake.

For the first card, I stamped the cake and floral images onto 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock, adding color using the Celebrate In Style Layering Stencils and then die cut the images out using the coordinating dies. I layered the images using the Art Deco Frames, also from Pinkfresh Studio.

For the second card, I followed the same process, adding the detailed clear stamp on the icing of the cake, adding some plaid paper from my stash and a stamped and die cut sentiment that is included in this set.

The cake stand and gold mirrored cardstock adds a bit of elegance.

Check out Celebrate In Style stamps, dies and stencils at ScrapbookPal and have fun adding lots of cards to your stash!

You Are So Amazing ~ ScrapbookPal

Hello crafty peeps~ I'm so happy to be back home from my trip out west.  I had such a wonderful time in California, caring for my sweet little "P".  Now I'm trying to get my crafting mojo back!  It's my privilege today to share this project I made for ScrapbookPal using Lawn Fawn's More Magic Messages stamps & dies.

This is part of their new summer release and it is filled with sweetness!

I started by stenciling the Honeycomb Stencil onto an A2 sized card panel using Dried Marigold and Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide Ink, using a Background Blender Brush from Honeybee Stamps.
I stamped the small flower and leaf images from More Magic Messages Clear Stamp Set onto a piece of yellow cardstock.
I also stamped one of the sentiment stamps on white cardstock and die cut it using the coordinating More Magic Messages Lawn Cuts.  The cutie little bees are from the Magic Iris Beehive Add-On.

I added a bit of Rusty Hinge DOX Ink around the edge of the yellow stamped panel and then mounted it onto a piece of white cardstock to add a bit of definition.

I think this card turned out so cute and it was great fun to make!

Here is a list of products I used that can be found at ScrapbookPal.

Lemonade ~ Double D Challenge

Hello my crafty friends ~ I just love the colors of summer, don't you?
Double D Challenges is starting a new challenge this week and I think you're going to love the inspiration board.  The theme for the next two weeks is "LEMONADE".  SWEET, right?

I pulled out Lawn Fawn Zesty Lemons and Dried Citrus Slices from The Greetery to make my card.

I cut all the pieces out of white card stock and blended on Distress Oxide Inks in the colors Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Spun Sugar.  I added some glitter to the inside pieces of the lemons to sugar them up.

The sentiment banner is stamped and die cut using Papertrey Ink Banner Style.
Easy Peasy, Lemon Squeezy!

I hope you'll play along with this sweet challenge, over at Double D Challenges.
