Another PTI Challenge Card

Here is another entry for the watercolor technique challenge going on over at PaperTrey Ink. This one came out a little more like a watercolor image.
I used a clear cardstock base and spring moss cardstock cut from a spellbinders nestablity. I used the All About You stamp set and the little butterfly is from Postmarks. Colors are Pure Poppy, Spring Moss, Harvest Gold and Aqua Mist. Thanks for visiting. Blessings~ Birgit

Watercolor Technique Challenge with PTI

Here is a card I made for the PaperTrey Ink 6th anniversary challenge. The challenge for today was to create a watercolor effect card. You can see all the fun inspiration and activities going on at Nichole's blog.
I inked up my stamps and then lightly sprayed the stamp with water before applying it to my cardstock. It gave a little mottled / watercolor effect. I think with practice I could get better at it, but I like how it came out just the same.
All products used are PTI unless otherwise noted. Colors are Pure Poppy, Spring Moss, Harvest Gold and Fine Linen. Stamps are from Beautiful Blessings and Day Dreamer. Thanks for visiting! Blessings~ Birgit

PTI 6 Anniversary

I'm entering this card into the contest for PaperTrey Ink's 6th Anniversary celebration contest. It is a case-d card that I saw quite some time ago and unfortunately I don't know who the original maker is so I apologize in advance that I can't give her proper credit. If you know who originally came up with the design, please leave a comment and I'll be more than happy to edit this post.
I used the Year of Flowers Collection and Papertrey Ink's first stamp set. It's colored with copics. Thanks for visiting! Blessings~ Birgit

Stamp A Fair Continues...

This card meets today's challenge over at Nichole's blog for PaperTrey Ink's 6th anniversary.
I used the gladiolas image from Year of Flowers Collection stamp set as well as the Basic Background Text Style, Everyday Treats and Friendship Jar stamp sets. Thanks for visiting!
Blessings ~ Birgit

Year Of Flowers with PaperTrey Ink

Today's PTI challenge was to create something using their Year of Flowers Stamps. I have the Year of Flowers Collection so my images are smaller than the sets that now have coordinating dies but I now have the individual stamps and dies on my ever growing wish list. Here's a little goodie bag I made using the Larkspur image.
I used the Year of Flowers Collection and Garden Variety stamp sets from PTI. I colored with copics and added a few little hand made flowers. The topper is a doily with a die cut from Beautiful Butterflies die set. Thanks for visiting!
Blessings~ Birgit
