I am so incredibly grateful for my mother. When I think back at what her childhood must have been like, a child during the war in Germany. She had to flee, with her mother, my Oma from their city because it was bombed. They went to a safehouse until it was safe to go home. When they arrived home, their city was in rubbles. She knew what it was like to be homeless and hungry, boiling meat fat to make soup broth to eat. The stories my mom has told me have both humbled me and made me so proud of her! She truly is an amazing woman and I'm so proud to call her my mom!
I used a free printable I found online and cut the card base using a spellbinders die.
Thanks for visiting. Blessings~ Birgit
