Cover Plate Water Coloring with PTI

Good morning friends. I'm playing along with this week's Make It Monday with PTI. Ashley has a great video on creating water colored backgrounds using cover plates. What a fun challenge this was for this gal who's completely water coloring challenged!! Here's my card:

I used the circle cover plate and randomly painted some of the circles in using Zig Real Brush pens. I die cut the flower bundle from Brushed Blooms and used the Zig pens to paint the stamps and then spritzed them with water. I'm not totally thrilled with how it came out but it is what it is.
Thanks so much for visiting and taking the time to leave me a comment. It means a lot to me and warms my heart!

Blessings ~ Birgit

  1. I think your card turned out beautifully Birgit! I love how you just did a few of the circles for your background...so soft and subtle, but definitely there! And it's also a great background for your beautiful flowers too! I bought that flower set when it first came out and am embarrassed to admit it is still unused...NEED to rectify that! And you'll laugh when you see what I used for my cover plate...great minds really do think alike!! :0) Hopefully post mine tomorrow.
