Baby It's Cold Outside!

Hello frosty friends~  We've been waking up to -24 degrees below zero for the last two mornings. Brrrrr....  Perfect weather for hibernating inside and playing in my craft room with some new stamps and dies.
This darling snow couple is from Avery Elle Frosty Friends.  Are they adorable or what??  The Poppystamps Stitched Majestic Mountains in the background were perfect for this warm wintery scene.

I colored this fella slightly different, adding Frantic Stampers Birch Tree Forest in the background.  Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes always adds a nice snowy base.

I'll be adding one of these cards to the following challenges:
Work It Wednesday ~ Something NEW
Time Out Challenges ~ New Beginnings
Double D Challenges ~ Baby It's Cold Outside
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes

I am also having a giveaway for this stamp set as I was sent two by accident when I ordered and they said I could re-gift it.  How awesome is that?  Leave a comment to win!  I'll pick a winner on January 7th!

Stay warm, my friends!

Thanks for stopping by!

It's pretty cold here too (-7) and coloring in my craft room sounds just fine to me too!!) Your first card looks so retro with the green and red colors and I'm loving the cool background in your 2nd card too! Two beautifully done cards my friend!! :0)

Birgit, these snow people look so much like the big plastic 3D ones we used to have on our porch when we were little. I love your cards but especially Love the first one with the light green background and stitched snowcap mountains. Just too cute!

OKay I guess I won't be complaining to you about our single digits....brrrrr.....I hear crafting keeps you warm! ;) Such sweet cards. Your snow couple is adorable and I bet they just love those Maine temperatures! Both cards are designed beautifully! Loving the snowy slopes and mountain tops! Don't you love Companies like that? I once had a duplicate order from the old Flourishes Company and they let me do the same. :) Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Double D Challenge Blog, Baby It's Cold Outside (WINTER), Donna, DT Member. Merry Merry!

I thought we had it bad at 17 below but yours is even colder. Brrrrr! Indeed! I love both of those snowman cards. They are so very cute. We got a little snow too. Just in time for Christmas and then again it snowed for the new year holiday.

Birgit, I am sorry, but what is one to to when it is so cold outside? Make cards, of course! Today we have 49 degrees but the sun is out and it is quite nice! I adore your two cards...those little snowman and snow-woman are so darn cute! I looked at those and not sure why I passed them up, but how generous of AE to let you re-gift! I love the first one where you have them nestled up against each other...I can see they are quite enamored with each other! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a great New Year (especially with a baby making an appearance!!) Heart Hugs friend!!

Birgit, these cards are both so adorable. Coloring is a great idea when it is cold...my daughter is home from school, and sending texts to her Maine friends 'complaining' of the 80 degree heat. It is unimaginably cold in Maine right now. So glad you are tucked in warm at home. Thanks for playing along at Time Out and also thanks for the chance to win that adorable stamp set.

Yipes! So glad I'm not to late to add my comment. Your cards are precious with those snow cuties. Can't possibly pick a favorite, but, the single guy in those colors, with the trees, and pole, oh my, over the top adorable! Love everything you do. So clever and sweet! Hugs!

I really love the second card with the forest scene. Would love some of your cold weather, we are heading for 38 degrees on Friday (tom) and 41 on Saturday. Far too hot to step 1 foot outside and we just pray that there are no power cuts due to everyone using their airconditioners flat out. Looking at your card makes me feel cooler, lol. Thanks for a great giveaway.
