PTI January Blog Hop & Make-It Monday

Popping in with a card to play along with PTI's January Blog Hop.  Such a fun inspiration photo:
I was immediately drawn to the confetti cake and knew right away that I wanted to use Just Desserts to make my card.

My "twofer" for you today is a card I made for the PTI Make-It Monday challenge with Lizzie Jones, "Shadowed Sentiments"

I used Sunflower Harvest to make this card.  I enjoyed the technique Lizzie used for the background too.  So inspired to use it again!  You have to look hard to see the shadow on the sentiment though.  I need lots of practice on that technique.  I used the same Sweet Blush for the shadow and didn't move the sentiment enough to allow for a good shadow.  Not to mention my lack of photography skills pretty much washed it away.
I'll be adding one of these cards to the following challenges:
Inspired By All the Little Things

A peek at my Valentine Village

Have fun hopping along!

Thanks for stopping by!

I have very few food stamps but your cake and others on the hop are moving this set onto my wish list! The cake looks yummy surrounded by great details and the 2nd card's bright colors cheer up winter's gloom.
