Shades of Pink ~ Double D Challenges

Hello friends~ "Shades of Pink", that's the new theme for the challenge that's starting today over at Double D Challenges.
I was delighted with so many ideas for this challenge.  That doesn't always happen.

I had won the entire release from Pink Fresh Studio back before Christmas and I really hadn't had much of a chance to play with any of it, up until this point.

I pulled out Choose Hope stencils and coordinating die to create this soft card in shades of pink.

The background is embossed using Lush Vines Hot Foil / Embossing Plate.  I don't have a hot foiling machine (dare I say "yet"?) so I'm glad I can use the plates for embossing.  I stenciled the flowers and leaves using Distress Oxide Inks and die cut the flower cluster out using the coordinating die.  I then brushed on just a bit of Stickles Glitter Glue to add shine to the flowers.

The sentiment is cut using Scripted Greetings, in gold and white and the two frames are cut using Poppystamps Pointed Rectangle Frames.

I do hope you'll stop in at Double D Challenges so see more amazing inspiration from my talented teammates and play along.

Wait!!! The entire release? Wow, so glad that you are now able to use it. This is fantastic Birgit, and so gimmery. This card is dazzling and just wait until you get the glimmer machine. Oh a must have is the solid hot foil plate. I know, I am an enabler.

This is BEAUTIFUL Birgit, and so glad you finally are getting a chance to play with your big PFS win!! Has the foiling machine come yet????? That lush vines plate works so beautifully for an embossed background, and the soft pink framing accents your gorgeous flower cluster beautifully too! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)

Looks like a lot of us thought of stencils for this challenge. How fun. Wow to win an entire release sounds awesome. I love the bits of foil and sparkle you added and the composition is one of my favorites.
