Good morning friends ~ I'm popping in with a card I made yesterday for the Color Hues color challenge. I couldn't let the colors go by, plus my dear friend Marcia is hosting so it's inspiring me all around!
A "go-to" die for me is the postage stamp die from Waffle Flower. I'm a bit late jumping on board with the Wildflower stencils, but I'm so glad I finally caved and bought them.
I wasn't sure if the colors would work well with these stencils, but I kinda like the fall feel. I would buy stamps like these! ;0)
I'll be linking this card up to the following challenges:
Color Hues ~ Rust & Yellow
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes
The Sisterhood of Crafters ~ Anything Fall

I would buy stamps like these too Birgit...the colors worked perfectly with this postage stencil! Your ink blending is so beautifully done too to make it look like you used more than just 2 colors my friend...LOVE it! Glad I'm not the only one still hooked on the postage collage stencils!! Sweet, sweet Autumn card and thanks so much for sharing it with us at Color Hues!! Hugs. :0)
This is one of my favorite postal stamp sets, and it is beautiful in rust and yellow! Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!
Your postage stamps look lovely all dolled up in Marcia's colors, Birgit! Yep, I would buy stamps like this too!
Your 'book of stamps' is really lovely in Marcia's colors, Birgit!

I think these colors work beautifully with the flowers, and what pretty stenciled flowers they are! I would buy the stamps, too. Anytime is a good time for flowers!
Those colors totally work--so fall like! LOVE the WF Postage Collection! Great die, fabulous stenciling! This is a beauty!
Gorgeous card using rust and yellow for your gorgeous flowers. This is so pretty! xx
I love that die set - yours turned out beautifully.

so pretty in all the Autumn colors, they worked perfectly with those stencils, I like, the forever and cents on some of them too!
Birgit, this is such an adorable card! I have seen this waffle flower die around and absolutely love it every time I see it. You might be late getting on the bandwagon with us, but you’ve done a great job with it. thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We always appreciate you!
Great way to stretch your crafty supplies by using the challenge colors with this spring stencil, Birgit! I think it looks absolutely amazing in the fall array of hues. Brilliant idea for a beautiful card! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Color Hues!
If your beautiful stamps were available at the post office, I would buy them. I have often wanted these layering stencils and perhaps I will go have another look. Thanks for playing at Color Hues and for tempting me to shop. LOL
I saw your card at Word Art Wednesday. Love it. I'm not on board yet with the postal collage but I want to be. I'm so fascinated by how many things there are to make with them. I'm not sure where to start. I'll be waiting for the next sale. Like Black Friday or Christmas or something. Also I wanted to say I love your blog header with the message waiting on the Lord. We are too. Love your Bible verse. My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 33:3. My Sunday school teacher taught it to me many many years ago. She called it God's phone number and I've never forgotten it.[Bunny]
