Craft Room Part 2

Hello friends~ I'm here with more pictures to share of my craft storage ideas for Craft Hoarders Anonymous fifth-Monday feature. I'm really enjoying getting to peek into everyone's craft spaces and see how they organize their supplies. So when I left off yesterday, the large cabinet you saw is behind my work table.

This cabinet that you see was also a freebie that my hubby found on the side of the road on dump day. The previous owners were throwing it out because it was missing the two doors and shelf in the bottom. My hubby simply added a new shelf and we left it without the doors. I like it better that way anyway, I think...

This is what's displayed on top of the cabinet of shame. The sewing machine was found in an abandoned house that was being torn down.

My 12x12 paper is stored in the closet which I'm not going to share because the closet is kind of a mess!

Guess that's it for today. Thanks for looking! Blessings~ Birgit

Oh my goodness, my eyes have gobbled up every picture with delight! I love how you find these wonderful old pieces (going to have to check out Goodwill more often!) and make them work so beautifully in your room. I love all the little vintage/antique touches, ESPECIALLY the photos of your distant relatives sprinkled all about. You have a wonderful knack for decorating and organization. Thank you so much for sharing all the fine details of your cozy workspace! And thank you for the kind words on my blog, I'm delighted you joined me on my "trip!"

Hello again. Thanks for visiting my blog already - even before I had linked up to Craft hoarders - golly, folk are so clever to manage to do these things with computers!
Your room is lovely - all those old pieces, all the photos and bits and bobs which speak of your life.
I especially like the header on your blog. What a lovely thought, to be in your craft room waiting on the Lord. How true that it is so VERY important to be creative in one way or another - God is a creator God, and we are made in His image, and therefore are creative...
Your room exudes a peace, and anticipation and a real delight in the things around you. Enjoy it.
Margaret
