I have oodles and oodles of old buttons and I really enjoy seeing vintage button cards on display and have quite a collection on Pinterest! I am working with the images from "Creating with Retro Christmas" CD #5. Oh my giddy heart, there are so many amazing images on this CD, it was hard to choose which ones I was going to use. You'll see, I've used quite a lot of them so this post is picture heavy. Be forewarned! Grab a cup of something warm and yummy and kick back and enjoy my tutorial on how to make your own button cards.

Birgit, I knew you would make something wonderful for this event, but honestly...these button cards are amazing! I love the images you chose to use and the buttons you matched up are perfect! The cards you made with them are gorgeous. You are so talented! As you know, I'm a huge fan of your fun, fresh style and clean design. Thank you so much for serving as our guest designer this month. I hope you'll do it again soon!

Welcome to Crafty Secrets design team Birgit. Wow! You weren't kidding, you sure do have a huge button collection and you treated us to so many gorgeous button cards. I love your use of the images and it must have taken forever to sew all those buttons on. I look forward to getting to know you better when I get back from holidays.
Adorable set of cards, Birgit. Love how you tucked the button cards inside the flap of the main card. Great way to showcase them!
LOVE these! I have a question, I have an older CS Christmas Retro collection, but it is not called #5, but I have some of these images. Did all of the button card images come from CS Retro Christmas #5? I so want the Santa one! I will buy #5 even if I repeat some of the images....
Seriously? super super cute, what a great tutorial! So happy to have you as the guest designer this month, you rocked it!
