I DO however, enjoy sending Thanksgiving cards to friends and family to let them know how thankful I am for their place in my life. Here's a card I made that goes along with the challenge at The Paper Players.

Here are some great Bible verses to help us be mindful about giving thanks to God for His abundant blessings.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 ~ Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Psalm 100:1-5 ~ A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
Philippians 4:6 ~ Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

What a great post about mindfulness - we have indeed all got something to be thankful for, even if we need to stop and consider what it is every once in a while.
