Sponged Stamping with PTI

Hello friends~ It's Dawn McVey's turn hosting this week's MIM challenge and she's got us doing some sponged stamping.

I used Flower Favorites for this technique and I couldn't stop on just one flower... Of course I had to try it on all of them and I love how the sponge softens the inks where they blend, giving them a smooth transition in color. I even stamped the butterflies using this technique. A little more ink blending in the centers of the stitched ovals and script and stripes stamping done in the background.

Thanks so much for stopping by~ I sure love it when you leave me a comment to let me know you were here. Blessings~ Birgit

  10. I rarely think to use my oval and circle dies as a backdrop for my images, but yours look awesome. Super job sponge stamping, Birgit, as it really does enhance the look of flowers, butterflies, birds, feathers and really anything. All three cards are terrific!
