I used Flower Favorites for this technique and I couldn't stop on just one flower... Of course I had to try it on all of them and I love how the sponge softens the inks where they blend, giving them a smooth transition in color. I even stamped the butterflies using this technique. A little more ink blending in the centers of the stitched ovals and script and stripes stamping done in the background.
Thanks so much for stopping by~ I sure love it when you leave me a comment to let me know you were here. Blessings~ Birgit

These are all wonderful, Birgit. You picked a great stamp set for that technique. Even your butterflies are gorgeous. I can't wait to try this one.
Beautiful Birgit! All three are winners.
Beautiful Birgit. My favorite is the middle one, but they are all lovely.
Great take on the challenge - all three cards are lovely.
Fabulous set of cards! The bright colors in the second one stood out.
Gorgeous flowers! You have this technique down pat! I'm also living how you've framed and highlighted your flowers with the various oval shapes. Wonderful!
I rarely think to use my oval and circle dies as a backdrop for my images, but yours look awesome. Super job sponge stamping, Birgit, as it really does enhance the look of flowers, butterflies, birds, feathers and really anything. All three cards are terrific!
beautiful cards- love the blended colours
Beautiful, Birgit! Your first flower reminds me of a sunset.
Wow!! So beautiful!! Each card is a work of art!!
Birgit, each card gets better! I like them all but my fav is the first one - like the pattern paper background. It really makes the card pop!
I've noticed your great cards at MIM #242 gallery, so great use of Dawn's technique! Fabulous!
All of your cards are so beautiful!!
I can't say I blame you for not stopping at one card, Birgit! :-) Each card is totally beautiful and unique.
