I'm seeing all kinds of beautiful cards out in blog land using these fabulous spring birds and I didn't want to miss out, so here's a couple of cards I made using this set. I did a little sponging and ink splatting in the background. I couldn't decide what colors I wanted the flowers to be so I went with both yellow and pink! You can never have too much color in the spring time...
I used the new Concord & 9th alphabet to make my own sentiment. I think I'm really going to enjoy this alphabet set but I need to practice lining and angling the letters just right. I still like how it came out though.
I'll be adding one of these cards to the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp ~ Work It Wednesday
Fun Cuts ~ "N" is for Nature
The Sisterhood of Crafters ~ Think Spring
Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy the journey of your day! ~ Birgit

Beautiful cards Birgit! Love that you used pink and yellow for your flowers on the first card...you're right, there can never be enough color for Spring!! Love the font of the alphabet you used for your 2nd card too...I think I NEED to go check that out!! What make is the stitched and scalloped rectangle die you used on your first card? I've got a set of smaller ones from MFT, but would really like one that has a larger size to fit an A2 size card like yours......
Birgit, did you see that I used this same set for my NBUS card over at Darnell's too? OMG! Great minds think alike!! * wink! Love yours, great job with layering the colors on the birds...I used a Robin, but definitely want to use all of them again. I love birds!! Thanks for the inspiration!
Beautiful cards Birgit! Love the pretty spring colors! Thanks so much for joining us at The Sisterhood’s ‘THINK SPRING’ challenge and please come back again soon!

Beautiful soft cards. I don't do bird cards very well, just have a mental block. These are so pretty.
Oh, and the color of the tulips, were PTI's Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy and scarlet jewel in that order. Thanks for all of your lovely comments.
Great background and fantastic use of the new bird stamp set.
These two cards are beautiful, Birgit! LOVE the new Spring Woods stamp set and need to check out the Concord & 9th alphabet set I'm seeing around! It looks like a fun way to make your own sentiments.
Very pretty cards, Birgit! I love how the birds just pop! I think we are all ready for spring to arrive with it's glorious colors. I love the Concord & 9th alphabet set. They would be fun to play with. I'll have to check them out.
Lovely cards! I think you did a great job lining up the letters (I didn't know they were separate until you mentioned it)~
Beautiful cards, Birgit! Just getting around to my favorites on the NBUS blog, and there's Birgit's gorgeous spring-colored birdies card! Love it! Haven't gotten this one inky yet, but glad there's your beauty to case! Oh and love the lettering. You lined it up perfectly!
