PTI ~ Make-It Monday ~ Ink Blending through Die Cut Masks

Lizzie Jones is at bat this week at PTI showing us about ink blending through die cut masks.
What perfect timing as I had to make this card as a special request for someone's 90th birthday.
I used balloons from both Birthday Style and Heart 2 Heart #2.    I also added some dots from Just Desserts before removing the mask.  See those candy dots?  The biggest one hides a smudge where I got some black ink.  I always seem to mess up my card at the very end. Grrrrr......  Anyway, I'm glad it worked out. 😀

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings~ Birgit

Great Birthday card with tons of balloons. Makes me very happy. I almost always end up with a smudge on a white card. I usually end up covering it up like you do. Lol

What a fun and bright card Birgit...love it! And don't feel too bad about your smudge...my largest sequin on my card for this challenge is covering up a purple spot that shouldn't be there...grrrr!!

Love that you used balloons also for this challenge. Yours are so festive. Love that you were able to use the actual impressive age of the recipient on the card. Take comfort from the fact that you are NOT the only one to smudge an otherwise pristine card at the very end. I think that is actually why enamel dots were invented in the first place.

Oh this is so pretty! What a cheerful card for a 90th birthday! And don't you just love embellishments, they are wonderful to hide stray ink...

What a great card, Birgit! I love how you added the dots to the balloons and the enamel dots look great. We all use them just to cover up our oops. Love it!
