Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #365 ~ Flowers

Oh, happy day and happy news!  I'm officially on the Cupcake Inspirations design team and I couldn't be more overjoyed!!  I have been enjoying their challenges whenever I have the opportunity, ever since I first discovered them and now I'm part of their amazing team.  I do hope you'll check out their inspiring challenges each Sunday!
This week's challenge theme is "Flowers"

Our sponsor this week is Winnie & Walter and you could be the lucky winner of a $25 gift certificate to their amazing store!

So without further adieu, here's my card:
The owners of Winnie & Walter were so generous to the design team members, giving us a $20 voucher for each one of us!  Of course I spent more than that but I got lots of wonderful new to me, W&W products.  Thank you so much Shay, for your generosity!
For this card I used Winnie & Walter's In Bloom, Maggie's Roses Cutaways.  I started by doing some ink blending using Tim Holtz distress inks on a piece of white card stock.  Once blended, I spritzed the card stock with water to remove some color and add some interest, then I cut the panel with the rose cutaways (die cuts) and layered them onto a couple of Memory Box Stitched Octagons.  I die cut the main part of PTI's Faith Inspired sentiment out of shiny gold card stock and stamped the remaining part of the sentiment in smoky shadow ink. To finish this card off, I added some of W&W "Little Things" sequins.  So pretty!

Be sure to stop by the Cupcake Inspirations Blog to see the entire design teams beautiful inspiration and then join in on the fun!  You could be this weeks next winner!!

Birgit ~ That's me!
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings~ Birgit
