Marcia's & My Monthly Challenge ~ July & A GIVEAWAY!

Hello friends!  It's time for Marcia's & my monthly challenge.  For any of you that visit us on a regular basis, you know that we started this challenge a year ago now, (July 16th to be exact) and have been keeping steady ever since by challenging each other with either colors, a theme or using a particular stamp set each month.  Aside from having fun each month and stretching my creativity, I have so enjoyed our growing friendship more than anything!!  Even now, as I type this, I have tears in my eye's thinking about the great blessing of friendship I've been given.  I am forever grateful!

This month we challenged each other to use the set "Eva's Favorite Flowers" by Winnie & Walter since it was fairly new to both of us.

This was the first card I made.  Simply stamped and cut using a stitched rectangle die from MFT's Blueprints #13.  The "Happy" was cut from gold card stock using a die from Our Daily Bread and the rest of the sentiment was stamped in black from PTI's Embellished Elegance and the underline from Over, Under, Easy.

I started this card by cutting the bottom edge of white card stock with Simon Say Stamp "Thanks Scallop Border" and did the stamping using Lovely Lady, Raspberry Fizz, Fine Linen, Spring Moss, Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores.  The polka dotted paper on the bottom is from MFT.

I started on this card by heat embossing the outline flower images from the set in white onto White Linen card stock.  I then added some distress inks in Tumbled Glass, Dusty Concord and Abandoned Coral.  I spritzed it with a bit of water to remove some color, though it's hard to see in the photo.  I added the cute little bunny and sentiment from Marianne Designs "Some Bunny Loves You".

I think this card is my favorite because I love how the typewriter font shows through when stamped on.  I heat embossed MFT's Typewriter Text Background in white and cut it using the same MFT Blueprints #13 Stitched Rectangle die.  I then did the stamping using Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet, Raspberry Fizz, and Spring Moss (from PTI) and  Ocean Waves & Sea Glass (from Altenew)  The sentiment is from PTI's Bold & Beautiful Sentiments.

On this card I stamped the images from the set using Berry Sorbet, Raspberry Fizz, Dark Chocolate, Ripe Avocado and Spring Moss and Memento's Wedding Dress.  The sentiment is from PTI's Walk By Faith.

For my last card I wanted to do a Kath Kidston inspired design.  I adore Kath's use of colors and vintage style.  The "Thankful" die is from Impression Obsession and the rest of the sentiment is from Altenew's Fresh Freesia.

Now, are you ready for a big surprise?  Since it's our 1 year anniversary, both Marcia and I decided to do a little giveaway on each of our blogs.  Leave a comment below and we'll each pick a random winner from our blog to win all the dies you see here and on Marcia's blog.  Please note that these are both two separate giveaways, so you have to leave a comment on both blogs.
let us know what you think of our monthly challenges, if you'd like to play along with us, and if you have any ideas to challenge us with too!

Be sure to visit Marcia's blog and see her collection of beautiful cards.  I'm sure she'll knock your socks off!  She always does mine!!  AND don't forget to leave a comment if you want to win.

I'll also be adding one of these cards to the following challenges:
