Pumpkin Season

Hi there!  Ashley has a great video on using your pumpkin stamps in a traditional, trendy or unique way.  I would call my card unique in that the pumpkin doubles as a pumpkin balloon.
I did a little bit of a water colored background on water color card stock and added the pumpkin from Autumn Pumpkins.  I used the curly stamp to create part of the balloon string and drew the rest of the string in by hand.  You can totally tell the difference!!  And that adorable mouse from Christmas Critters.  I want to use them on everything right now.  ;0)

I used the pumpkin from last years release, Pumpkin Patch, paired with A Second Helping of Sunshine ~ Bowl Of Sunshine and Twig Wreath for a more traditional card.

This was a framed project I made last year using pumpkins for balloons, so I kind of wanted to recreate that idea.
You can check out Ashley's video HERE

Thanks for stopping by!  Blessings~ Birgit

I think your pumpkin=balloon is one of the most creative ideas I've seen for this MIM challenge. Love it!

Your sweet mouse guy takes center stage, but the pumpkin balloon is so darn darling, they have to share the love! And your string is adorable. I've yet to use my mouse stamp set, but getting plenty of inspiration from you! Love the wreath around the bowl of pumpkin too, perfect for your tradition card, and the framed picture is gorgeous! How fun to bring it out and display for the Halloween season!

Ha ha I can see you have the pumpking-virus! Just keep them coming, I love your pumpkin cards! So smart to use it as a baloon, I also love the second one, I think it is my favorite of this serie. By the way, the knitted embossingfolder on my blog is from Stampin Up. I love it and just made some new cards with it. Planning to blog about them soon.

These are all great cards. I love the watercolor background you did on the first card. I have trouble doing that and it always comes out terrible looking. I like the subtle colors you chose for the cards too; they look nostalgic in a way.

Cute idea with the pumpkin balloon on both projects. Your twig wreath with the pumpkin is just beautiful and great image on the last, looks great in the frame!

All three are wonderful cards, but my favorite is the one with the little mouse. I was playing with that set yesterday. I had a hard time getting things lined up, even with the Misti, and I am totally admiring your stamping.
