Marcia, Patti and me ~ A Challenge Between Friends

Hello friends~ It's nearing the end of October already... my how time does fly!  That means that it's time for Marcia, Patti and I to share our challenge creations with you.  This month we chose an "anything goes for fall" theme.

I'll jump right in with my cards:
#1
I used MFT's Leaves and Impression Obsession's "Thankful" die.  The rest of the sentiment is from PTI's First Fruits.  I inked up the leaf images and spritzed them with water before stamping them onto water color paper and then added some ink splatters with a wet brush.

#2
I used Simon Says Stamp monthly kit "Nuts About You" for this card.  The little acorn embellishments are so cute!!

#3

#4
I just had to throw in a primitive and a vintage card for this challenge.  This card uses an old stamp from Twigs' Primitive Collection ~ Pumpkin Harvest.  The sentiment is an old wood mounted stamp from Inky Antics and the sunflowers are from Frantic Stamper.

#5
Here's my vintage style card using Clearly Besotted Sunshine and Smiles colored up with copics.  The background is stamped using a Heidi Swapp background.

I'll also be adding one of these cards to the following challenges:
The Sisterhood of Crafters ~ Pumpkin / Orange
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes
Crop Stop!  ~ Anything Goes

Please be sure to visit Patti and Marcia's blogs to see their amazing creations!  Your comments are always so appreciated and thanks so much for stopping by.  Blessings~ Birgit

Hi Birgit,
I do love these cards, what a great collection of varied inspiration how utterly wonderful indeed, we're in spring downunder though, so Autumn doesn't readily come to mind, was quite summery here today..

I really love the name of your blog and have joined your blog too as an encourager, how important it is to wait upon our Lord! Each day, in fact each moment in prayer for Him to guide our path aright. Hoping you might pop over to my blog also, when time permits,

Wow, you have a lot of dies to make Fall cards with and they are all so colorful and pretty. I really like the sunflowers on the one card since growing season is ending here -- they are a warm reminder of summer.

WOW...where do I even start?! You went to town girl!! I absolutely LOVE your first card with all the leaves...such a simple design but SO colorful and eye catching! And I adore the sentiment in your 2nd card, and the colors and plaid are fabulous!! And oh your quilt card...SO SO pretty!!! Why do I never think to get that set out?!! I think your 4th and 5th cards are both kind of vintage, and I just love all the warmth and color you packed into both of them! And of course the sunflowers just make me smile and feel good! And what a perfect way to use that cover plate on your last card! Your little Fall scene is just beautiful Birgit...totally captures the whole feeling of the season and I love it!! I'm so glad we do these challenges together...this friendship we've been blessed with just amazes me and I'm so glad to have you in my life!! Thank you dear friend!! :0)

I can almost smell the leaves as they are being raked up and the hot apple cider that awaits you after a nippy day out doors : ) Beautiful collection of cards Brigit!! I think your inking and spritzing on card #1 perfectly captures what a fall scene really looks like! I love the acorn embellishment : ) Your quilted, primitive and vintage cards are not only remarkable but are such an accurate picture of your style - that is very eclectic and always brilliant! : ) Your last card represents what we have all come to expect from the Queen of die cuts : ) Just darling!!

Great job friend : ) you outdid yourself! : )
