12 Kits of Occasion ~ July

Hello friends~  I'm so sad to see July end because that means that summer is coming to a close here in the north east.  On the upside of that, the end of the month brings the gals from 12 Kits of Occasion together, as we post our projects using kits from our friends.
This month's kit was from one of the sweetest and kindest gals online, Marybeth Lopez of Marybeth's Time for Paper.  She is flawless in her card making designs and her kit was such a great representation of her sweet self.

Here's the cards I made using her kit:

Please let me just interject in here and say how cute are these little guys from Purple Onion Designs!!  That little mouse just had to take a snooze on the big leaf from the Fushcias.  I just couldn't resist!!

I was hoping to get more cards made but July has been a busy month for me and much of it has been spent outside enjoying the sunshine while it lasts.

Thanks Marybeth for such a fun-filled kit this month!
Be sure to visit the 12 Kits of Occasion blog to see how all the gals were inspired to use Marybeth's kit.  Please come back to visit me at the end of August as it's my turn to host and I have a special guest joining us.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hi my friend! Birgit, your cards ALWAYS inspire, and this post is no exception! The coloring on the fuchsias look like they could dance off the card, and I'm still tickled by the snail and napping mouse on the big leaves. Love the simplicity of the beach card too, simple, elegant and sends a summer 'thank you' perfectly! xoxo

  5. I am so in awe of your fuchsias! Your coloring is so gorgeous and I adore the wonderful sentiment you chose. The mouse and snail could not be sweeter! What a great idea to show each on one of the leaves. I used so many of the supplies this month but luckily still have the tiny mouse. Thanks for giving me inspiration on how I can show him off! Wonderful beach scene too--love your water!

  11. Hi Birgit! I love how you worked with the kit - you saw it in a unique way from everyone else. The frame of pattern paper with the fuchsias and sweet sentiment, the little critters inside Polaroid dies (the little mouse sleeping on the fuchsia leaf) adorable! The tropical scene is absolutely dreamy!
