Hello friends! I'm super happy to be introducing you to one of Spellbinders amazing new releases called "Winter Tales Collection". This entire collection is filled with Scandanavian inspired, Folk Art designs from a "new to me" designer, Isuka Marku.
I instantly fell in love with the Magical Deer die set the moment I saw it. Such a peaceful and majestic deer, don't you think?
I embossed the background with an old FSJ embossing folder called Cozy Knit, but Isuka designed a beautiful embossing folder called Ski Lodge to coordinate with this set. The puffy Peace sentiment and gold stars are stickers from Christmas Puffy Sentiment Stickers.
For my next card, I really wanted to channel my Scandanavian roots, (a large part of my DNA is from Sweden, Denmark & Norway) by adding flowers from the Enchanted Garden set.
I enjoyed creating both of these cards and I hope you will check out the full collection and all the NEW ARRIVALS. While you're there be sure to check out what's COMING SOON.

That deer is a dear! Quite spectacular! Love the folksy vibe of your creations! Simply fabulous!
Such lovely cards, Birgit! I love the Scandinavian style, with it's crisp, colorful images, and you've captured that perfectly! That sweet deer is precious!
Yes I agree he has a regal and peaceful feel to him, I love the embossing behind him and gold stars are a neat touch with it. That is so neat that you were able to use your roots on the second card and add the pretty flowers to it :)
Two FABULOUS cards my friend! I love the Scandanavian style too and you've captured it perfectly in both cards...that deer just couldn't be any sweeter!! Hugs. :0)
They picked the perfect name for this darling deer, he truly is magical! These are simply charming, Birgit!
Beautifully done! I agree, that deer is very majestic, very elegant too. Love that you were able to work in your Nordic roots onto the card. Fabulous job!
