Day 5 ~ 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hello~  Here's my tag for day 5 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags.

I was inspired by Joni Andaya's beautiful tag.

I used an MFT Stitched Traditional Tag and PTI's Painted Poinsettia's

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #383 ~ A Theme Challenge

Hello friends~  Can you believe it's time for another challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations?

This week is a theme challenge.  
Here's the sweet inspiration photo; the theme is TREE:

Now on to this weeks card:

I cut a yellow gingham stitched rectangle using "MFT Blueprints #13".  I added a strip of aqua colored chevron paper cut using Lil' Inkers "Stitched Long & Skinny Rectangles" and adhered it in the center of the yellow gingham.  I then cut another stitched rectangle and added a bit of distress ink around the edges while it was still in the die, leaving the panel with a white border.  I stamped the tree and leaves from Simon Says Stamp "Giving Thanks" and I added some pretty lemon colored leaves for interest.  The sentiment is from PTI's "Phrases & Praises".  Two die cut button stacks finish this card off.

Day 4 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags

I'm hopping on to share my tag for Day 4 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags.

I was inspired by Lorraine Aquilina's sweet tags on day 4.

I used an MFT Stitched Tag and added a strip of washi tape to the bottom and polka dotted vellum at the top.  I adore Birdie Brown's stamps and this little gal from Warmest Wishes steals my heart every winter.  I added some snowflakes from Top Dog Dies Penguin set.  You can't really tell in the photo but the snowflakes are covered in Cool Diamond Microfine Glitter from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Day 3 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Another quick post with tag #3 for Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags.

Day 3 is sponsored by Newton's Nook and I instantly fell in love with Newton and all his friends when I was introduced to them just a few months ago.

I don't have any Christmas sets yet with Newton so I had to improvise with this adorable stamp from Newton's Nook.  I added a stocking cap from Top Dog Dies Penguin set and a sentiment from PTI.

I'm hoping with all my heart to win this days prize from Newton's Nook so I can add to my collection of Newton stamps.

Day 2 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Tracey McNeely

Good morning~  I'm here with a tag for day 2 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags.

I was inspired by Pam Simpson's lovely tag from Day 2. I used an Impression Obsession Candle, some sprigs cut using a Martha Stewart punch and Poinsettia's from Spellbinders.  The tag is Poppystamps Main Street Stitched Tag and I embossed some stitched circles on it using a die from My Creative Time.
