Veggie Border

Hello paper crafting friends~ I'm here today with another card that I made for the Make-it-Monday challenge over at Nicole's blog. I enjoyed this border technique of Danielle's so much, I just had to try another one. Here's my card.

It's the beginning of the season for harvesting all our yummy vegetables from our garden so I thought this might come in handy when I pass off bags of beans, cukes and zucchini to friends and neighbors. Thanks for looking! Blessings~ Birgit

Creative Card Border

Happy Make-It-Monday, PTI friends! Danielle Flanders had a great tutorial on how to make a decorative die cut border without using traditional border dies. You can check out the details here. I originally wanted to use my favorite "Rosie Posie" set until I realized the dies weren't separated so I couldn't make the border I wanted. My second choice was to use "Sweet Life", another great set. Here's the card I made:

I dressed it up with some silvery ribbon and a silver card base. I'll probably use it as a wedding or anniversary card. Thanks so much for looking! Blessings~ Birgit

Thanks for stopping by. Blessings~ Birgit

Eloquent Blue Bird

Just popping by to enter this card into the Work-it Wednesday challenge for Simon Says. Here's my card featuring a bird cut using the Cricut.

Thanks for looking. Blessings~ Birgit

I'm so blue...

Happy Hump~Day friends! This is my first time joining the Work-it Wednesday challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp blog. The challenge was to make a card using the color blue so here's my card:

I used a water coloring technique to color the image using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Clearly, I have a lot to learn! The image is from the set called "Morning Glory" from SNSS and the design paper is from Simon Says. Thanks for looking! Blessings~ Birgit
