Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #367 ~TROPICAL

Hi paper crafting friends~ It's time for a new challenge at
Here's this weeks inspiration and it's a tropical theme:

Our sponsor this week is Your Next Stamp and if you join the challenge, you could be the winner of a $25 gift certificate to their super fun store!!

Here's my card for this week's challenge:

I used the adorable frog from Your Next Stamp's Sticky Note for my card today and took my inspiration from the colors.  He's kind of tropical...  don't you think?

I stamped the frog and leaf image onto white card stock, die cut him out and colored him using copics.  I then added a thin layer of Glossy Accents on the frog to make him look slimy and then set it aside to dry because all frogs are slimy, right?

While my frog was drying, I cut a piece of soft yellow Bazzil card stock using Your Next Stamp's Curved Scallop Edge Die and ran it through my machine with a polka dotted embossing folder.

I then added some greens using a fern from Spellbinders and Elizabeth Craft Designs Leaf & Berry Branches.  I colored the leaf & berry branch with copics and added some yellow stickles to the berries.  I then assembled the leaves and sweet little froggie and leaf image and finished the card off using some Gumdrops from Your Next Stamp.

Here's a couple of bonus cards for you using this adorable stamp set!

A shaker card...

And a birthday card.

Be sure to stop by to check out all of the fun cards from the Cupcake Inspirations Design Team and join in on the fun!  Maybe you'll be their next lucky winner!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings~ Birgit

FUN card or rather cards! I love that glossy shine you added to him. Love your first one where he is peeking out from beneath the foliage, he looks like he's about to get in to some trouble lol

ACK! Your tucked-into-the-leaves frog is absolutely fabulous, with his glossy sheen, big eyes and sweet smile! Your interpretation of tropical is spot-on! The other 'sticky' stamp cards: such fun!

Sorry I haven't been around much...sickness and now in vacation. I am loving your frog give cards. They are so much fun to look at and you captured the colours really well. Love the gloss on Mr. Froggy and the plants surrounding him

I love these cards. Where I used to live in Wisconsin we had nightly visits from tree frogs on the window that looked just like these! : )

Sweet sweet cards and so are you for the wonderful and encouraging comments you made on my Penny Black post today! You blessed me so much!

Thank you sister : )
