Pink Ribbon Anniversary Card

Good morning and Happy New Year! I'm kicking the new year off with an entry for the Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge using pink ribbon. This couldn't have come at a more perfect time as I just made this anniversary card for an anniversary coming up on Jan. 3 and I just happened to use pink ribbon! So without further adieu, here's my card.

On this card I used embossed paper from Doodlebug Design for the background and a paper doily. The postcard stamps are all from Greetings from Paris from Just Rite Stamps. The anniversary sentiment is from PTI, which I double stamped using Sweet Blush ink and again with black ink to give it a shadowed look. The stamped flourish image on the small heart is from MFT and the hearts are all cut using Spellbinders and embossed with sizzix embossing folders. The embossed flower image is one that I fussy cut from a vintage greeting card. The pink bow is done using baby pink seam binding from RRR. I added a vintage hat pin and some punched flowers with pearl bead centers. I used Sweet Blush, Berry Sorbet and Smokey Shadow inks from PTI and Tuxedo Black from Memento. Thanks for much for looking! Blessings~ Birgit

Hi There and thank you for stopping by and saying hello. Your sweet card has so many elements I love, the embossing, doily, French post card, etc. A lovely card for someone special and I'm sure it will be treasured. Dru

Such a pretty, pretty card! I love the embossed background and that lovely postcard stamp. But the ribbon steals the show! Beautiful job, Birgit! Don't you just love that seam binding? So easy to work with! Happy New Year, and thanks for playing along in the RRR January Pink Challenge! xoxo
