Doodling With Stamps and PTI

This weeks Make-It-Monday Challenge was a bit out of my comfort zone. Ashley had a great video (found HERE) about doodling with your stamps.

I started by doing the water coloring technique using Happiness In Bloom, on watercolor paper. Once it was dry it was time to doodle! To be honest, my heart was pounding before I made that first doodle with my ink pen. I kept pressing forward with it and discovered that the more I doodled, the freer and easier it became for me.
In the end, I'm happy with the results. I even think I'd like to try it again! The "Mother" sentiment is an oldie from a QVC set my mother had bought and never used. I even made a little doodle under the sentiment. That was hard work. ;0)
If you've made a card for PTI's MIM challenge, please leave me a comment so I can be sure to stop by and see yours.
I'm also entering this into the following challenges:
V's Sweet Ideas
Word Art Wednesday challenge
Thanks so much for visiting! Blessings~ Birgit

This is so fantastic! Love your doodling--So many creative bits around the images and even along the edges. I plan on doing this challenge some point this week. I can see how you were nervous, but it came out so great.

Hi Birgit! This card is lovely. I wanted to let you know that this month's theme over at V's Sweet Ideas is water color, and this card would be so perfect for the challenge, and I hope you will link it up with us. Have a blessed week!

What a sweet and beautiful card with your watercoloring and doodling, BIrgit! It was quite nerve-racking taking pen to paper, wasn't it?
