Thanks for encouraging me and being a great online friend.
I used PTI's Lovely Laurels Mini Kit to create this fun little dimensional card. With a name like "Lovely Laurels, it's got style built right in so I knew I'd be ok for this challenge.
For added dimension, I used vellum and two layers of green mulberry paper. Remember that paper that was really popular many moons ago? Yes, I still have some!
Some flower and leaf shaped sequins from the kit really add to this card without making it too busy. And that bird! I just love this bird image from PTI's Anniversary set, Petite Pots.
I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
Word Art Wednesday
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.
Thanks so much for looking! Blessings~ Birgit

You definitely have style, Birgit, and this card is proof! Everything about it is gorgeous! I love that sweet bird and the sequins, and those layers are amazing! Great job breaking free and going for it!
OK...you have style my gal and it is all class with some sass:) I love this card-It is so pretty and delicate looking. You are a treat:)
Yay--you did it! Your card is just wonderful, and quite stylish as well. I really like how you put so many layers within your laurels, and those flowers and leaves really jazz it up as well. I am admiring that bird, and happy to learn that he is somewhere in my craft room as well--buried under a pile of new stuff. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week, and for taking me up on my personal challenge to you.
Glad you took on Joyce's challenge because this is gorgeous! I love the wreath layers and how they add so much dimension while still keeping it simple. Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!

Love the simple design. Those die-cuts are adorable. I am so glad you joined us in our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. We are beginning another challenge today so, hope you link with us again. Leaving you an inspirational verse as declared by Jesus to them that believe in John 6:39 and it says, "And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. " Have a blessed week!
