Bronze Anniversary ~ Double D

Happy New Year, my friends!  I hope you had a safe and happy entrance into 2024.  We stayed tucked in at home and enjoyed a quiet evening.  We're too old for celebrating big on new year's eve.  Our idea of celebrating is hubby falling asleep in his chair while watching tv, waiting to watch the ball drop.  I celebrate from the comfort of my bed with my eyes closed. haha!

Anyway, Double D Challenge is ringing in the new year with a birthday / anniversary, celebrating their 8th year!  Can you believe it??

Darlene and Diane do such an amazing job keeping all their challenge blogs straight and the inspiration photo's they use are always inspiring.

I used a bronze embossed scrap of cardstock from my scrap bin, Add to Cart Celebration Add-Ons from Spellbinders and vellum flowers from Pinkfresh Studio.  The sentiment is an "oldie" from Papertrey ink.

I hope you'll stop by the Double D Challenge blog and join in on the fun.

Here's the inspiration board to help you get started:

Here's the prize you could win when you play along:

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, my goodness, this is really gorgeous, Birgit! What a wonderful celebration card. Those flowers are an exquisite finishing touch. We celebrate in similar ways. We stay home and listen to the fireworks going off across the bay. Sophie was curious and mildly alarmed, but not overly spooked. I'm happy to be celebrating DD's 8th year with you today!

The embossing on the bronze is so pretty as are those flowers you used, love the touch of sparkle with it too on the border!
Our new year was quite the same :) I fell asleep to fireworks going off in our neighborhood though.
