A "Twofer" for you!

Good morning friends~  It's been snowing like crazy here on the east coast so what else is there to do but spend the day in my craft room and play!

I missed the last "Twofer Card Challenge" and I was determined not to miss this one!

I used this cute image from Stamping Bella called Gardening Chicks.
For my first card (Get Well), I stamped the image on water color paper and colored it using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.  I mounted it on MFT Plaid Patterns and added a Dee's Distinctively Secret Garden Flower, that was also water colored.

For the second card (Easter) , I masked off the stamp and just used one flower and bird from the image.  I die cut it using Memory Box Half A Dozen Eggs.  I also cut three of the same sized eggs from these fun polka dotted papers from ECD ~ Thinking About Rio De Janeiro.

I also wanted to share this darling card using MFT's Friends Furever image that sweet Kara from Bright Hope Creations helped us all color when we were at the Craft House in Kansas.  I learned so much from Kara and I'm hooked on learning more!  Thanks so much Kara~ love you girl!
You can find all the details of Darnell's Twofer Challenge here.

Here's some links to help you easily find the products I used:

I'll be adding one of these cards to the following challenges:
Simon Says Monday Challenge ~ Easter / Spring
The Sisterhood of Crafters ~ Birds
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes
Use Your Stuff ~ Die Cuts

Thanks for stopping by!

What a cute scene on your first card, Birgit ... the blossoms sheltering that poor little sick chick are beautifully coloured ... he's bound to feel better with that loveliness around him! Such a fun egg card ... this time it seems the blossom is being used as a parasol! Sweet, texture-y bear ... Kara is an amazing colourist, how fabulous you got some face to face coaching! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)

Wonderful and fun cards using the same little chick with the flower image. It is so well colored on the get well card and the image looks awesome on the Easter egg too. Thanks for joining in on the #3 Twofer March Challenge.

Those little chicks tell such a story together on your first card! Beautiful coloring and I love the die cut flower that anchors your sentiment! Your polka dot eggs are great companions to the scenic one. He tells a story all on his own, doesn't he?! Your bear is just as round and fluffy as he can be! I can't tell you how much it means to me that we got to spend time sharing with each other! And I must add, thank you for joining in the fun with us over at the Twofer Card Challenge!

Egads, Birgit, I ADORE that chicken and flower stamp set so you are enabling me to spend some money!! I love both your cards using it; fantastic with plaid and so darn cute with those dotty eggs!! Beautiful designs and coloring! And thank you for sharing your darling Karaesque colored bear! I just saw Col and Lin's posts about your adventure and it's obvious you all had a magical time! I'm so sad I couldn't be there ... next time! Thanks so much for the shoutout and for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge #3! Hugs, Darnell

Sooo cute, love the gardening chicks—adorable! Such a happy Spring like post. 3 Nor’easters in 11dsys, cripes! First time we have lost power on 2 different days! I’m afraid to look at the weather they say something is brewing for next week too! Sigh!

Your twofer cards are just too adorable. BTW, the banner die is from The Ton, Basic Banners that my BFF gave me for Christmas. Miss you my friend. I don't know if I brought it or not. I usually keep them on my desk until I've used them and I think I found it on my shelf. Darn...
