Butterflies and Flowers ~ Spring Is Here!

Good morning~  Just a quick post using some new to me stamps and dies from Concord & 9th.

I love the painted butterfly image in this Butterfly Beauty Bundle.  I stamped the butterflies onto a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock then did a bit of ink splattering.  I cut the panel using MFT's Wonky Stitched Rectangles.  The wings of the butterfly are actually 4 different dies but when you put them together you can overlay the body of the butterfly and make it look like it was one complete die.

The flowers in this Flourish Bundle make me think of a vintage table cloth.  So pretty, don't you think?  I love the details the multi step stamping adds in this set.  I used the same MFT's Wonky Stitched Rectangles to cut the stamped panel with.

I'll be adding one of these cards to the following challenges:
Curtain Call ~ Flutter
AAA Cards ~ Bright & Beautiful
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings~ Birgit

Beautiful cards! Thank you for blessing us with your artwork here at Word Art Wednesday. Please join us again soon. Leaving you with the inspiration of the scripture from Jeremiah 17:7 (KJV) which says, "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is."

I like the wonky stitching around each of these cards, Birgit. It just adds that little extra touch to finish off both beautiful cards. You've used such pretty colors on the floral card. I need to get into stamping more than I do. Your work is so inspirational. I always get something off your cards that I want to try.

These are so pretty, like the layering of the die onto the stamped butterfly in the first and such pretty flower stamping in the second!

Yes, I agree. The floral image reminds me of a vintage tablecloth as well. I absolutely LOVE the one layer card. It's really beautiful...the colors...the sewed edges...very nice. Thanks for joining the Creative With Stamps May challenge. Dorlene CT CWS
