Hello Coffee

Good morning crafty friends.  There's nothing better than a hot cup of coffee except a hot cup of coffee shared with a friend.   Today's card is all about both!

Here's a snapshot of the products I used today:

I started by creating an A2 sized top folding card base using 110lb Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock.  This is such a nice heavy cardstock, just perfect for making card bases and the surface is so smooth, making ink blending easy and crisp.  I stenciled on some wide stripes using black ink and added a strip of CCS Silver Glitter Paper using Score Tape Double Sided Adhesive.  Be sure to check out the sale this month on all silver and gold cardstock.
I cut the coffee cups out of Pop Tones Pink Lemonade cardstock and blended a bit of distress ink to the bottom of the cups, giving the cups some interest and depth.

I used Brown Basis Cardstock for the coffee and chocolate and 80lb. Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock for the cream and assembled them using Tombow Mono Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue .  Yum!  Don't these look tasty?

I stamped a simple sentiment so this card could be used for just about any occasion.
Since Gold and Silver cardstocks are on sale for the entire month of July, I made another card just like this, changing up the colors just a bit.

The cups on this card remind me of vintage jadeite.  I used Limeade Pop Tones and CCS Gold Glitter Paper.

Don't forget to include a coordinating Pop Tones Envelope!

I'll be adding one of these cards to the following challenges:
City Crafter Challenge ~ Two Colors (Pink & Silver)
Crop Stop ~ July Linky Party
Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings~ Birgit

Both cards are so cute Birgit, but I admit I'm a little more partial to the pink, black & silver one! And I'll pretend there's a strawberry smoothie in the mugs rather than coffee!! Really cute cards Birgit!! :0)

The green mugs look like they might have some "Girl Scout Thin Mint" drinks in them or some Irish coffee. Either way both are my favorites. Love these mugs with the cream on top. Such colorful and pretty cards.
